So? What does he know about disease epidemics?  That's far removed from his area of actual expertise.

Although I agree, forcing the issue is a poor idea. I think it's possible to use this as a way to really educate people about the scientific method. Then they can choose for themselves.

Yea but no one is making the argument that if they help or do not help. We just agree that they shouldn't be mandatory

Freedom is important.
Governments do not necessarily know what is best for the individuals.
Individuals have a right to decide how they will go about their health.
Whether they want to eat raw meat and raw milk or take drugs or herbs or take vaccines or choose whatever health treatment they want.
People should be free to do what is best for them.
For example there are vegans who thrive.
And there are vegans who's children die from malnutrition.
It is still should be within their freedom to make mistakes.

We have freedom like this in my country because our government is not anally funded they cannot afford so many government employees to watch every move a regular person makes. 

We also have the freedom to starve.  No EBT cards here.

In my childhood I thought the USA was the "Land of the Free"... you guys have to fight it out again to regain your freedom.
