Title: Hunger
Post by: Guittarman03 on March 23, 2009, 12:30:22 am
So generally I'll wake up hungry, like it's time to eat, but as soon as I get moving it goes away for a few hrs. Not really a problem of any sorts, just curious if anyone else experiences this.

hunger in the morning is due to a spike in insulin, it passes within 20 min and is not 'real hunger' you may get another one around lunchtime with 'real hunger' setting in late afternoon. 'real hunger' makes raw meat and fat taste delicous. When raw meat and fat dont taste so good anymore your full. Any desire to eat after your full is from unstable insulin production coming from years of sugar and addictive SAD.

Interesting. I've been low carb for a good 6 months now, moderate carbs for almost a year. What is the mechanism that causes an insulin spike in the morning? Even when I do eat a little in the morning, it's not until 1.5-3 hrs after I wake up.
