Title: Getting into a goats head?

I got my hands on a goat head yesterday, I want to eat the brain & eyes... anyone know how to get into the skull without mangling it too  bad? (I'd like to keep part of the skull if possible). Is there a soft spot?

I'm curious about it myself.  I have a lamb head that has been sitting in the freezer for a while now.
Maybe SB could make a video about it.

I use a large old "banger" screwdriver hit with a hammer.

I have used a knife and an ax... cut the skin from the forehead down to the lips/nose and put the knife in the middle and use the ax and knife both to break it open. It will open nicely and you can take out the brain
I do not think there is a way to get out the brain keeping the head whole.....

Thanks guys!! I got into my goats head today using a small hatchet and scooped it all out with a spoon, pretty amazing stuff. I actually didn't even mangle the skull to bad either.  :D

I have to say, brains taste amazing, I can't believe my butcher just gave me that head.   ;D
