Title: Raw Lotus Seeds?

My wife bought raw lotus seeds on our Vietnam trip.
The chinese and the viets put this in many of their cooked dishes.
Im eating them raw, of course.

Anyone have experience eating raw lotus seeds?
Feedback? Benefits? Warnings?
