... honey bee larvae ! Anyway here in Germany. If you ask a bee keeper, he/she usually get rid of the extra "males" (still larvae), this time of the year if you are lucky,  and you get normally the whole thing with the wax. I chew the whole thing and spit out the wax, were juicy. I heard the russians squeeze out the liquid from the wax.
Btw, they were still alive, so this is really live food.

Did try to squeeze out the liquid, works really well. Bee-larvae juice/milk/cream haha. Tried also to mix it with a bit of honey, tasty.
