Listen to this former KGB agent explain how successful their brainwashing of the american public was.
My beef is regarding the ways of health and diet. If I didn't suffer immensely with eczema and didn't face certain death, I would have never actively pursued alternative ways to health or alternative diets. It was my dogged pursuit of better health which led me to find raw paleo diet.
How to convince more people? How to convince our own loved ones?

That they've been brainwashed? Or what they should be thinking?
What is the "proper" alternative to the Leninist-Marxist ideas he talks about?

I'd just like to concentrate on health without drugs and the paleo diet.
So far, my family is drug free... hooray.
Paleo diet, we are getting there.
My wife and kids still eat cooked meat and rice almost every day.
At least my wife now appreciates raw duck eggs... hooray.
And we have eliminated all other crap like wheat, corn, potatoes, soy, etc.
Grrr... I'll just be happy when my family gets to cooked meat paleo diet... then it will be another stage to raw meat paleo diet.
For example this video with Loren Howe he reads a study that with paleo diet alone, all those "diseases" go away. It's the way the market works he says.

I believe the study Loren Howe refers to is from Jean Seignalet's book. The fifth edition of his book is readily available in France, but I don't know if it will be translated in English. His diet is not even a raw paleo diet (rice, light cooking and vegetable oils are allowed), but he had tremedous results on many diseases. And we can believe him, he was very rigorous and absolutly honest (no personal interest, he worked in an hospital at Montpellier).

Yes the masses are brainwashed, and it is up to every one of us to take the advice of Jesus Christ, who said "Seek, and you shall find, and the truth shall make you free".
We, here, are trying (exept for SuperInfinity), most never will. It comes from the inside, so preaching is a waste of time.
The apparent notable exception is Satya's offspring, but that requires the persuasive powers of a Mother.
