This isn't a topic which is actually important to me at this time, as my fasting topic is, but since others have been discussing reproduction, and how to have the most healthy child, I thought I'd bring up the issue of the umbilical cord. I'm busy reading stuff on fasting at the moment, and if I'm not doing that I'll probably be lying down so I'm not actually going to write any information.
Doctors clamp, and then cut the umbilical cord as soon as the baby exits the womb.
