In the UK you can buy a pig head but not beef or lamb. I don't know about the US.

I had a deer brain once, but unless you kill your own game brains are hard to get were I live.

I make due with eatting spinal cord, It taste just like brain and I assume it has a similar composition.

saber have you noticed any special effects from eating brain?

Unfortunately all the butchering done on animals that I would eat around here is a gun...to the head, I'm like you assholes, what a waste! But c'est la vie

I don't know that it will make you smarter per se, but if you believe in like heals like, or like feeds like, then eating brain would be the best way to give your brain what it needs to function optimally

I didn't notice any dramatic enhancements after eatting an entire deer brain over two days, but I did notice more vivid dreams. I  have experienced lucid dreams that seem very odd and unusual the nights after eatting either brain or spinal cords.

I also had some wild dreams after eating cow brains, definitely not a bad thing though
unfortunately I can only get corn/soy/mineral supp fed pig brains at the moment, the next chance I get I will eat more brains

I recently found a source of raw fresh brain. Today I bought 2 btw. I didn't notice any special effect, but I just ate it once.

today I asked for spinal cord and got turned down :(
they said they throw them away  :o because of mad cow disease
I asked them if I could sign/create a waiver, they said they would get back to me...

raw brain is available everyday in our wet markets.
But you have to buy it real early or it runs out.
I was at the market this 7am and they had run out already!

Fillipinos are so much more civilised in this regard. All I can get in the UK is raw brains from 100 percent grainfed pigs.  And since hunters shoot their animals in the head usually and therefore cut it off afterwards, I never get the brains that way either.

I got a pig's head from the butcher. I smashed the skull open with a hammer(really thick...). I couldn't eat the brain it tasted horrible? The meat around the cheeks tasted horrible too..

What did the pig eat? I once ate grainfed pork brains that did not taste good

I've had delicious beef brain and delicious goat brain.

I wouldn't want to eat pig brain.

I'm a believer in the pork prohibition of various cultures.

Why so against pork?

in my area, all pork is intensively farmed, fed gmo feeds.
historically pork is taboo for many cultures... they may have good reasons for it.
One good reason is the pork parasites can get in your brain and may be the hidden cause of strokes.

I can get horse, goat, beef, duck, ocean stuff which I feel allows me to not miss pork.

Good points, what about wild boar though?

Wild board, hard to come by.
I went up the mountains to a tribe and was fed cooked wild board.
I got some (farm raised) wild boar from an organic farmer and ate some raw meat, but was not able to get organs.

Supply is hard for me.

Lol farm raised wild boar? I think that just makes it farm raised. But im still not sure, are you saying boar is fine but pork is not?

That farmed wild boar was organically raised by a farmer I trust.

True wild boar hunted in the forest is hard to come by.

I've been trying to find a hunter to make a deal but none so far.
