Title: Is eating only wild caught fish (for meat choice) healthy?
Post by: Ferocious on June 15, 2011, 06:56:52 am
Hi,
We are low on cash right now so I can't buy grass fed beef, even though beef is my favorite. Fish seems cheaper and since it's wild, it seems like a win win situation. I'm just wondering if only consuming fish is a good choice. I will eat some fruit and vegetables, I am only talking about meat choice. What is the best tasting fish to get that's also low price?
Also, how do I prevent getting sick from eating the fish raw? Are there any precautions, or is it all a myth? I've eaten sushi, but I have not prepared my own. Also, do I keep it refrigerated or not?
Any other tips are very welcomed... I am strictly a beginner. I am tired of eating the crap I have been. Eating raw just seems so pure and so right. thanks!

I did raw sea food only and egg yolks for my meat for the first 3 months and it was all good.
I felt really good. No worries in my experience.
I did get bored after 3 months and thought I'd try red meat.

Didn't work for me, long-term.
Cheap good fish would be wild mackerel or wild sardines or wild sprats.

Why not eat fish most of the time, and beef sometimes? Or some eggs sometimes too..

Not sure why not. I eat eggs and fish most of the time, and beef sometimes.
