This won't force farmers to avoid intensive-farming their animals. Instead, we may face a rise in disease, and even if we are healthy, being exposed to other peoples' illnesses won't help us much either, even if we will be more immune than SMD-eaters.

Maybe not, but it exposes how out of balance the current system is, or better said: it exposes that western medicine is based on a farce.

SMD="Standard Modern Diet". It's really a better worldwide term than the more usual "SAD/Standard American Diet") which, technically, only applies to the US.
