Healthy lifestyle and coke are an oxymoron. Just because people appear to be healthy doesn't mean they are. I know people that seemed healthy just to find out later down the line that they had horrible diseases.

Ermm ray peat drinks coke and he is healthy... I personally choose not to drink coke because of the chemicals in it that stress the detoxification organs but I do eat shitload of raw honey and tea now and I have never felt better in my life.. it's not the caffeine adrenaline cortisol route it's more of switching to glucose burning metabolism and frequent feeding it lowers stress for your body enormously..

You probably think you know some, but such people are probably more rare than you think. Just because you don't see any obvious health problems now doesn't mean they aren't going to happen in later years.

I have come across so many reports in the media and elsewhere of people who looked absolutely fit and yet who died suddenly in their 40s and 50s.

I'm just listening to the audiobook "The Coke Machine" about the history of Coca Cola. Fascinating what these characters were up to.
AFAIAC I say if people want to destroy themselves that's their business.
I have a friend who used to polish off 6 diet Pepsi a day. When I brought it to his attention that there is info out there that is pretty damning about these products, he simply said there is no proof of it...... I believe he said the magic words "Scientific Studies"... Duh I wonder why.... OK
I knew that was BS but he was considerably higher in the pecking order at my place of employ, and really it's not my business, so I just bowed out. He had MS to the point where it would take him 5 minutes to walk up stairs. Now he is too blind to work.
Now bear in mind that he is a very bright man, electrical engineer. Should have known better. Sometimes I wonder if it is really suicide by degrees....
For the record Aspartame has been studied and found to cause damage to the brain in mice to the point where it causes all kinds of neurological disorders . It breaks down and releases formaldehyde and diketopiperazine (known to cause brain tumors) after being stored in a refrigerator for only 10 weeks. I could go on and on about it but you get the picture.

"Coca-Cola’s New Zealand managing director George Adams said at the time that Mr Hodgkinson’s claims were “patently untrue’’."
