Title: Raw animal fat equally as effective as a probiotic compared to protein?
Post by: technosmith on July 08, 2012, 04:01:01 am
Hey forum, is raw animal fat such as raw bone marrow or raw beef fat equally as good as a probiotic as raw animal protein, or is there something about the protein portion that makes it a more effective probiotic?

I didn't think protein was a probiotic... Probiotics are cultures of bacteria?

Yes, but the raw meat provides lots of good bacteria for your gut. Thought probiotic was just another term for beneficial bacteria. Just wondered if the same beneficial bacteria is present in raw animal fat or whether there is something special about the protein part in terms of bacteria. Also consider why high meat is made from the lean muscle meat, but not fatty meat, to appreciate my thought process.
