Title: POSTS; CAN IT CHANGE SO THE LATEST POST IS FIRST?
Post by: primalgirl on August 06, 2013, 04:50:59 am
Maybe or maybe not? I always want to see the latest post and sometimes have to go to page 50 to get there.
Just a thought not that big of a deal. -v

You can click straight to the last page e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... 18; you click 18 to get to last page(x, y, z, a, b... c). Some topics people like to read through in order from beginning to end.

I know....just a thought. I always like to see the latest and some posts started years ago! It's OK. I'll deal with it as it is.
 -vGrateful for the forum!!

i haven't dabbled with this, as i personally prefer to read the threads from start to finish before i add a comment...  but try this:

when logged in, hover over the "profile" button, and select "account settings" from the drop down.  on the new page, go to "modify profile" button, and select "look and layout" from the drop down.  on the new page, there will be a box you can check if you'd like to show the most recent posts at the top.  check that box.

maybe this will work?

keep it real, playa.

Thanks but I tried and never could find "look and layout" button! only "account settings". Even when I tried to modify and had to enter my password...nothing like that came up in the drop down menu.

BKR: do you really get that option? I don't. When I select "account settings" and scroll down, the only option I get is "change profile," not "modify profile." Under "change profile," there is no "look and layout" option. Perhaps you can double check and tell us where you are finding this option.

i just double checked...  from "profile" click on account settings. on the new page, there are two options just above the brown bar (not in line with "home, help, search, profile, my messages, calendar, members, logout")...  "profile info", and "modify profile"...  it's there.
