Title: Ways of Boosting Your Health (non-nutritional)
Post by: LePatron7 on April 18, 2014, 03:32:22 am
I'm not recommending giving up eating a healthy diet. What I'm mentioning here is that eating a healthy diet, and ignoring all other principles of being healthy isn't optimal and/or potentially doesn't work. There are tons of things that promote health that eating a raw diet simply doesn't do - exercise strengthening bones and reducing risk of osteopenia later in life, social bonds reducing depression, etc.

Eating a healthy diet doesn't mean that you don't need to exercise, have good social bonds, get enough rest, etc. I mention these things because they're things I feel are grossly overlooked on this forum. 99% of the discussion here is on diet.

Just some things to think about if you're one of those people who does nothing but make tweeks to your diet and you're still feeling depressed, having digestive problems, etc. Or if you just want to try new things to make yourself happier.

Thanks for this. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that something as simple as laughter can have major health benefits.

I've found myself solely focused on nutrition for health, just because it's been the #1 thing in turning my life around. But I can vouch that a good night's rest can make all the difference. Lack of sleep will ruin a day completely even if you've been eating great. Both are very important, just as all of the things you listed are.

Get away from the polluted cities.  Must find a way to live in a clean environment.  It's a big deal.
This is my next dream.

GS, maybe the over worrying is part of the problem too. Maybe it's not the polluted cities, and it's the stress of worrying about it.

This is a really good topic. Thanks for starting it DaBoss.

From my experience something called Human Design has been really healing for my body.
I got tools from it that have helped me live a more comfortable life and techniques for making better decisions.

Energy medicine & meditation FTW :)

There are many techniques like qi gong, quantum touch, etc.

Not politically correct to say in western culture, but us healers in a different culture say this to the ones we heal, especially older men, much easier to heal sometimes.

Sex with younger women is really invigorating, healing, strengthening.

Yes, I agree. I have noted that some older men married to much younger women did seem able to last forever.

Would you say this works the other way around (older woman with a younger man)?

Is sex with older people maturing, relaxing, wisening :P?

Looked into quantum touch after reading your post, majormark. Looks perfect for my condition, having slightly unbalanced hips and shoulders at the moment.
