It's also a beauty enhancing diet and plays a major roll of anti-aging issue. You can emphasize like saying that it's a secret diet of ancient beautiful people like kings/queens /warriors...etc.

Omnivorous Raw Paleo Diet / Re: What is the issue with Nightshades?
« on: December 04, 2010, 10:16:34 am »
I grow tomatoes, but don't eat them. I also grow eggplants, but I don't eat them. In the past, I ate many of them, didn't help me. Even I tried my own home grown fully riped potatoes eating them raw, didn't help me a bit. I don't want to take any health risk at this point. But it's undeniable that fried eggplants are truly delicious, home made tomato catchup or just onion and tomato salad simply delicious!

That's a good looking cow with two horns on it. I'm sure this cow is a superb cow than any other cows in US. Enjoy!

I don't put myself into any of these chatagories that u've mentioned. I do fast for religious purpose, I eat when I'm hungry. That means sometimes I eat large meal and rest of the day, I don't eat anything or I eat small meals all day long. After taking care of my family, I pay attention on me. So it is hard to put myself into a catagory.

My son who's three yrs old eats 2 meals a day and so does my husband.

The last few days I've been trying to do raw paleo, and I ended up just killing my already terrible digestion.  Today I can't eat anything at all, my digestion is just dead.  May be the worst episode I've ever had, and I've had some terrible ones.
I feel for you. When I started raw paleo, I just love it the way I feel my energy and the calmness in my stomach.(even though I didn't like the taste). I see my husband and my child were acted different than me when they started. This diet is not the drugs that u can see the result just trying for some days. Hoping your best health.

General Discussion / Re: Why do humans cook meat?
« on: November 20, 2010, 12:55:33 am »
To GS and Miles, you both guess right. Even when he eats bone marrow, he takes knife and fork, like cutting a piece of chocolate. He never likes the idea to make his hand dirty. Before RPD, I lived with him past 7 yrs and enjoyed traditional Indian meals which required eating by hand. He never tried even that. (we're multiracial couple)

Actually I fed my son soft shell turtle raw, but it does make sense to boil the entire turtle. Basically we never can guess when people started cooking. Fire is a component  of prayer which exists among many tribes. Sometimes when we cook fish, it is softer than the raw fish and old people (no teeth) can eat them well.

Something I find strange to deal with my husband when I serve him raw meat and cook meat. He can eat cook meat without any complain, but raw meat, he (sometimes) says that it sticks in his throat. So, I spend hours everyday to cut them (raw meat) into very small pieces and just pray that he can swallow them. -\

Home cultivated WG has a lot of mold on it and Mycotoxins. I got sick every time I ate some.
This august I picked some very tall wild growing grass and juiced it. Felt pleasant wellbeing every time I drunk it.
That's  very true. Personally I never like home grown wheat grass juice and wild grass is much better than all. But I don't consume any green juice for the past one yr now and I'm on strictly on RPD. I use wheat grass to clean the city water and put my child to bath. I'm sure I can use other plants to do that too.

Hey btw. what about snails in rivers and ponds?
Do you see them enough where you live? So far I don't see these creatures  in US, but back home I see lots of them on my grandma's pond.

General Discussion / Re: Making raw food taste good
« on: November 18, 2010, 11:09:48 pm »
Eating raw meat it's very challenging for me. Entire life I know and believe to eat cooked meat. Especially, my food is known for the most spicy.

I started with baby food which is blended plain raw beef (yuk -v!). I used to drink that once a day and everyday was scary to eat raw meat. Until the day I saw plain raw lamb, and instantly felt to have a bite on it. I like the taste and never looked back to eat that blended meat anymore. Now I enjoy plain beef to any raw plain meat. Now I crave eating raw beef tripes, more I eat, more I want. Now I'm hundred percent raw and definitely enjoy being raw.

My mom is a salt addict and i get from her the same addiction. the day i start eating raw meat, it reduces% salt intake and after couple of months I'm completely 100% rawist  and my salt intake is 0%.

Wheat berries you can buy from whole food market. simply soak the seeds over night and sprout them and put them on the ground or put them in a container (with soil) inside your home. water regularly and it will take 6 to 8 days to grow.

No veggies are needed, dogs eat grass and other things on their own as long as you let thme outside. You could get him some pet grass.
The sign of dog's eating grass, when that dog is not healthy.

Bitter melon is well recognize in Asia. Here I grew (in USA) the best quality of small bitter melon plant.

Raw-al, why not the wheat grass? I grow this all the time for my son, who takes shower with the grass juice. Also it prevent my hair of being gray. Both of my parents get gray hair in their early thirties. Wheat grass is a great detergent. You can use them as tooth paste too. I use my common sense to use wheat grass. Personally I don't know anyone who is doing that.
