General Discussion / Re: Very Low Carb - Low Temp - Increasing Carbs?
« on: October 16, 2010, 03:47:11 am »
for me it's always a bad deal if i borrow fruit from tropical country to cure my problem . bitter melons are extremely good for lots of things. even i grew bitter melons in my new jersey home last summer which were the smaller in size and known for the best one. GS lives in Philippine and that's a tropical country. living in US would be different to treat low body temp. i know that raw protein and fats are very good for my body. this diet works like a buffer in my body. on extreme hot days i feel cooler (my food intake decrease), but winter time i feel less cold and i can eat more. if i persist myself on raw meat diet, my energy level always stay same regardless of weather.

i'm not sure. still our own body is a mystery sometimes. the consequences after you have a particular diet would be the best observation.  most of us see the great benefit of raw meat diet. so all of these researches could be a crap.  -\

i want to start buying the pet food as my organ meat like lex. after buying almost entire grass fed cow for every month for my entire family, still i'm not consuming enough of these organs. i give my son 1st (the best parts), than i feed my husband, and i eat all left over one like muscle meats. i think this is ridiculous, when i'm paying my fortune every month like that. my parents, like my mom eats raw meat and my brother , uncle and aunt eat cooked meat. :(

when my child was just a small baby (around 8/9 months old), i have done his 1st blood work. i was raw vegan and running enormous deficiencies. he was a solely breast feeded baby. he was severely anemic. than i have done again when he was 1 yr old and 2 yrs old (3 to 4 times). after giving him raw chicken liver, when i get his last blood test , there's no anemia exists on him. dr. stanely buss's advice and mother's instinct work for his raw meat diet. i never knew the paleolithic diet than.

Ah I got it what you talking about.
I have to agree on this with you but as far as I remember I am totally suspicious person from birth word
But yes I agree with you  :)
after adopted on raw paleo, the feeling will be on other way. the feeling is sort of like an individual  can conquer the all fears from his /her mind. that's happened to me at least. :)

That is not very convincing hehe  ;)
well, as i say that it doesn't matter, fear kills people. sometimes people eat healthy food and can't get the optimal health (if they carry any doubt about that healthy food). we can't measure everything with science. if you even chose to pray to ur food before u consume, it will change the molecule and changes the energy(i mean even worst food).  :)

my husband takes care  lots of pets when he was little boy in his country. for dogs, raw meat and bones and for cats, raw liver. they stayed very healthy. in his culture, they don't put dogs /cats inside homes. so these animals run in the wild and get extra exercises to maintain good health. they belongs to the nature.

I expect many would be concerned with the limited menu for your toddler, but of course your toddler just wants to satisfy his hunger and could care less about variety in his food. Of course  I have no idea if this protocol is good or bad, only that it seems to be working well for me at this time.  Just keep an eye on the little one to make sure.    But just as I will change what I’m doing if there is any indication that problems develop, be prepared to do the same for your child.  Do what works, not what someone else thinks is proper, and be prepared to make changes if conditions warrant.

Lex

i agree. but the thing is, in the morning after eating raw animals' organs and fats, he doesn't want anything to eat unless he sees some oranges. he can eat two whole oranges if he gets hungry. he loves oranges. he also loves wild grapes and home grown one king of seeded grapes (those are not very sweet). if he sees bananas or other fruits, he gives a bite on it, but doesn't like them. he hates green juices. i don't find any good source of wild fish here. once i ate and also gave that to him, we both got sick (raw wild salmon). i give him raw soft shell turtle blended with muscle meat and he eats that too without any bad signs. i do want to know what else i can give him or how i can help him even more -\ probably i can check his blood if he has any deficiencies. he's still a small baby and i hate to make him cry to draw his blood for test.

but i am very afraid of disease parasites bacterias :'(

1st treatment is to get rid of  fears from ur heart. that'll work like a prohibitor for ur optimal health. it's proven that when a bird accidentally eats poison, but it doesn't know it is a poison, that bird survives. before i start my RPD, my body was loaded with disgusting parasites. now i stop being worried about bacterias and parasites and none of them now existed in my body (at least that's the way i feel now)

I've been eating just one meal per day for several years now and have no desire to eat more often, (unless I'm doing heavy physical labor and my body just wants more fuel).  I eat a fairly large meal in the mid afternoon and then I'm just not hungry again until the next afternoon.  I sort of eat the way most people feed their pets - same food everyday, and usually at the same time everyday.

Lex
lex, i realize that my toddler needs more than one meal a day. i give him all types of blended organs and fats in the morning like 10 am. than he asks me for another meal after 5 hours later or so. than i feed him blended muscle meat with raw butter. he satisfies than. i give him almost same combination every day. just like you.

also i see the milk glass. raw milk and raw meat! -\

Although I can get whale meat, which is dark dark red and very fatty. Taste quite excellent aswell, but I'm worried about parasites
wow! if i were you, i definitely try this whale meat. i really don't care about parasites anymore... ;)

interesting! i feel to eat some fruits like yuli late at night too (right before i go to bed). i realize that, it's hard for me to eat one meal a day. the way it works,  i try to listen my body 1st. probably some organs in day and muscles at night and fats are in between.

Omnivorous Raw Paleo Diet / Re: UK - Raw Nuts
« on: October 14, 2010, 07:54:20 am »
after you soak them, they become softer and also they change themselves chemically inside to make sprouts.

in US, even with the shell, they are not raw. so have your own nuts tree is the most reliable source to eat real raw nuts.

i agree with yuli, working out in forest is the best.

sully, that log is really huge. i wonder how heavy that will be. recently we did cut lot of huge  trees and non of us can carry the log that you did. if it from a dead tree, that's different story i guess.

my toddler climb on me today. he throws also some heavy objects from my back yard. he uses his both hands to open up the tight water hose. i usually don't feed him until he realy gets hungry. so today he goes to my grape vine and tries every single grapes to eat from there. also he uses his entire lenght to pick up the goji berries from my goji berry plants. of course he is a good dancer and everyday he sings and dance with his parents. ;)

it would be easy to hunt a bison throughing spears repeatedly (think about living in a paleo village, where all those strong men run after the bison to kill it. like other tribes, if paleo people can make their own spears using those trees and assets from their land, that will bring even more satisfaction.  :)

i've a chinese doctor, (it's believed that he's one of the best in the world) amazing. what he can do to see your feet for couple of minutes and can tell you everything what's wrong with your body. i'm in raw paleo and so does my child, and we also get amazing results from him. his treatment is not raw paleo , but diagnosis is the best. he is not a medical doctor and he sees patients in manhattan once a month. it takes months to make an appointment with him.
