Also,if you're interested in meticulous detailed information,
you can check out the interview with Karen Kingston with her research on this topic:

First it was 5G that was trending as the cause, now it's snake venom.

If you study germ theory vs terrain theory, you should find something worth considering.

What works is going on a liquid diet for a while.
Examples: Raw protein shakes(eggs as the base, then add whatever else like milk/water)
Or,if you're cool with some cooked food: Chicken soup.
The point is to stay away from solid food until the area heals.

Increasing your fats was a good idea.
So,after the area heals, just adjust the ratio until you find what works for you.
If that doesn't work, you may need to take a HCL supplement to increase your stomach acid.
Or,if you're not into supplements, perhaps 100% beef is not the right diet for you.Good luck

General Discussion / Re: Video about raw egg consumption in Japan
« on: January 05, 2022, 10:32:56 am »
Nice video.I lived in Japan for 3 months.
I didn't notice the egg consumption so much.Just the tons of rice that they eat :)
Other than that, they are really cool with raw items in general.

Btw,do any of you know what the deal is between raw egg whites and biotin?
I read that raw egg whites can prevent the assimilation/availability of biotin in the body.
Any truth to this?

to also get a hard backup of my own writings here.

Maybe start by doing a search for all your posts and screenshot page by page?
At least you'll have the essentials that you can then upload to your computer.

Yeah,I've been wondering why Edwin hasn't gotten rid of this spam.
He's been relying on CleanTalk, but I guess someone's figured out it's weak point.

Are there any mods still around? Or,did this site become a one man operation?

« on: October 05, 2021, 12:03:02 pm »
@kingsalmon We realize all those things and are still concerned. Tyler posted here very frequently, so for him to suddenly drop off the map is unusual behavior and concerning. Yes, in your case you don't post frequently and don't consider us your friends, so if you left it would not set off alarms or concern here.

Sounds good.Good luck on your search.

@kingsalmon. There is private messaging on this website. We wouldn't post anything publicly. But your attitude is noted - if you go missing, no one will try to contact you or care about your whereabouts. Some friend.

I've only been in contact with one member outside of this site,I have his personal email and know the city he lives in.Even with that,I don't consider that we are on a "friend" basis. We just liked to share experiences and information.
So,if you were really a friend of Geoff's,you would have,at least, some contact info.
My point is that perhaps he doesn't want to be bothered.Ever consider that?
I don't mind if you don't look for me if I go missing.Chances are that you wouldn't even notice,as I'm not a big contributor here. :)
The diet world has changed quite a bit since this site was more popular years ago. Also, with media platform changes/evolution,a lot of members have just moved on.
For example,a lot of meat based dieters are now listening to channels by Shawn Baker,Judy Cho, and Brian Sanders who regularly feature videos,podcasts,interviews...etc
Then there are the myriad of Keto/Low Carb channels who weren't at all popular years ago.
So,no need to feel so worried if someone doesn't post here anymore.
I'm still here occasionally as I appreciate the raw aspect of this forum.
Anyway,that's my take.

Edwin had posted his name and email address for people to contact him.
Then, people complained that this was an invasion of privacy. So Edwin deleted the info.

Now,you guys want to start that again?
How about just leave the guy alone? If he wants to contact people, leave it up to him.

Hey Edwin,
Why are you allowing these commercial posts? Aloe drinks with weight loss claims, and now this ad for a pharmacy?
This forum has lost it's focus.
I guess the raw crowd has dwindled down to ultra small numbers.
It seems that both the carnivore and keto crowd are more interested in cooked foods these days.
Even a lot of vegans are into cooked foods.
Also,I don't see anyone out there interested in the Wai Diet, hardly anyone in Raw Weston Price or Instincto Diets.
Maybe it's time to redesign this forum as relevancy seems to be an issue.
Anyway, just my 2 cents.Good luck with whatever you decide.

Ive made the news again, but this time it was for my mission work to free humanity from the creeping Tyranny of the Covid 19 Plandemic. In the depths of my throwback soul,  I was only doing what I thought was right to warn the people of my community.
Those who know me here and know my heart, please pray that justice be done and that I get a fair chance to make my voice heard. We are all being bombarded by an ocean of lies, constantly threatened with both biological and psychological warfare under the false flag of a corona virus. It has driven me to do what I did, and my only regret is getting caught.

Im in for the fight of my life and am reaching out to the community for moral support and sage advice going forward.

Just claim "Peaceful Protest" like the ones who got away scott free whilst causing much more serious damage.

This was a pretty good video. Thanks for sharing it. I have been experimenting with carnivore since the start of the year, and definitely find benefits. I have abided by it over 2-3 stretches in the past, but have never tried pushing beyond that.

Yeah,it's hard to stick to long term as we have so many available foods to us in the "modern" world.
Too many distractions:) You kinda have to be dead serious about it.
I also notice that some carnivore eaters wind up adding something back in at a certain point. For whatever reason they may have.
Similar to how some vegans wind up adding something back in as well after a certain point.

Is there no one fully raw animal foods on here?

There used to be some in the Zero Carb section.A lot of people either haven't posted in a long time,or don't post anymore.
Having said that,You will find some AV followers pop up here and there.
The more recent raw animal/carnivore types don't seem to appear on this forum. For example,Frank Tufano who has his own thing going.

15
Explain how cooking meat should be bad for sickly people who don't even produce enough juices to breakdown the meat?

This is a "Raw" forum.
If you do a search, you could find tons of info on this.
But if you're happy cooking/heating your food, that's fine. There are plenty of forums such as Keto,Zero Carb,Paleo...etc where you could find others that share similar views.

General Discussion / Re: Local Spring or Re-mineralized distilled water?
« on: October 23, 2020, 05:06:19 pm »
I'm a fan of distilled water.
I've discussed this previously in a fasting thread.
The argument comparing distilled vs spring or mineralized type water has been beat to death many times over already. So I won't waste my time going over the benefits of distilled water vs______(insert whatever other type of water here).
Having said that,I wouldn't have a problem with drinking some(not all)water that occurs naturally in nature: e.g. Rain water (distilled),Spring water (from clean flowing creeks...etc..).Obviously,Sea water would be out of the question, even though it's "natural".
Not a fan of water that has had anything added to it.It kind of reminds me of the old days when I used to eat "fortified" cereal l) Basically a joke as far as nutrition goes.

General Discussion / Re: Fasting
« on: July 13, 2020, 05:55:57 pm »
Do you add anything to distilled water?

Fasting is more about subtracting than adding.A lot of folks in the health movement seem to always want to add some "secret ingredient" to benefit their health:)
For example, health food store shelves are full of "detox" type of concoctions.None of which are any better than good old fasting IMHO.
With respect to fasting, less is more. But yeah, you can add lemon,as mentioned in my earlier post.
But other than taste, lemon won't be of any more benefit during a fast. Also,as I previously stated, you can experiment with prune juice(one day only-for elimination) after a week or two of fasting.

p.s. There also exists other type of protocols like the 3 day coconut oil "fast" for different purposes..etc...
But that's another story for another day :)

Do you think that reverse osmosis water is also as good as the distilled water?

Close enough.Distilled is more like rain water so,to me,it seems more "natural".
I remember when I was in the Philippines, the owner of the house had a big open tank on the roof. They were able to catch free good quality water from the sky:)

p.s. You can make an argument that the water would pick up particulates from the air,but whatever,it's hard to find "perfect" water anywhere.

Yeah, this forum is pretty dead. 1000s of members, zero opinions, thoughts, experiences, inputs etc...
Maybe people have now gravitated toward some of the myriad of new YouTube "gurus" out there? Especially the channels that feature "doctors" with lots of content. And also the channels that feature live chat,interviews....etc...
In addition,it seems some people need some type of "leader" to follow.Be it a "Guru","Doctor",or whatever popular figure of the day.
Lastly, maybe some members have said/heard it all by now :) And perhaps this forum hasn't attracted any new members due to reasons listed above.

General Discussion / Re: Fasting
« on: July 09, 2020, 01:41:33 pm »
A long time ago,I fasted based on the writings of Herbert Shelton(old school).Got good results, but it took planning as I did long term fasts.
Now,I do occasional shorter term (3-4 days) fasts.I don't have the time to do long fasts anymore. But I still get benefits from the shorter fasts,as my diet is much better than in was in the past.
I'm a fan of using distilled water as opposed to using concoctions like tea,coffee...etc.
I have experimented with adding a little MCT oil here and there,as well as adding some lemon in my water just for the heck of it.One experiment that was interesting was drinking a few glasses of prune juice after about a week of fasting.Whoa.....I recommend that one.Try it and see for yourself:)

P.s. If any of you disagree with using distilled water, that's fine. But don't bother trying to dissuade me from using it,as I've heard every side of the argument many times already.Thanks.

General Discussion / Re: Iron overload on raw meat diet
« on: June 16, 2020, 08:17:10 am »
But I generally stay away from cocoa powder, which is never raw btw. I prefer 100 % dark fatty chocolate, which consists of cocoa mass (around 50% cacao and 50% fat) + fat only. Another thing to consider is that chocolate is always produced by roasting the beans (that´s how it´s traditionally made anyway). There is one exception of a brand that makes unroasted "raw" chocolate, but thats a super exception.

I would also be careful not to mix honey (high carbs) and fat together, it can cause issues.

I use both raw cacao powder and regular cocoa(not raw)powder. Two different things. Two different tastes...etc.
I'm not a stickler for 100% raw,especially when it's only a teaspoon or so.
Do you use "baker's chocolate" for your fatty dark chocolate?
I've used baker's chocolate before and found kind of too hard, and it didn't mix well with my coconut milk concoction:)
In terms of honey,I don't use it at all anymore,so it's all good.

"I was looking for an alternative fat option aside of animal fats, because I stopped consuming raw dairy which caused way too many issues. I found my substitute in raw coconut cream and fatty dark chocolate in small amounts. I experienced that animal fats, avocados, olives and nuts sometimes won´t cut it, I think the reason for that is that coconut fat does not need HCI to be digested, so if you have issues with HCI production, for whatever reason (candida, h.pylori...), coconut fat can be your saviour."

That's cool.Fatty dark chocolate is a new one on me though :)
I mix my coconut milk/cream with raw cacao or cocoa powder(just because i like it).
Taste great, feels good, healthy(in my experience anyway)what else can you ask for? ;)

Note:I was using raw honey for a while with coconut milk/cream,but the fructose was doing a number on me,so I terminated that experiment.

can we remove the picture?
No sense in riling up this non issue.

picture? If you mean the study I posted, sure,no big deal. It's not RPD anyway. It just related to what Lex and I were discussing.
However, there's a certain poster who always seems to have snotty immature remarks to say on what I post.I don't have a beef with anyone here.It seems this poster enjoys posting immature comments and images.I'd rather discuss things with adults to be honest. It's up to you guys as to how you want to run the place.
