the doctor just showed documentation proving that i had specific dietary needs and could not eat certain things..and that basically it was necessary for my health to be able to cook for myself because of my dietary restrictions..i didn't have to go into detail about what i do eat...just what i couldn't eat (basically everything in that nasty dining hall food)

hey i went through the same thing in college...and they insisted that i needed to have a meal plan....so i got my doctor to send in medical documentation..and legally they had no choice but to move me to campus housing with a kitchen and i didn't have to have a meal plan....i wonder if you got your doctor to sign off on special dietary needs if you could move your housing to somewhere were you had access to a kitchen (even though maybe you are raw and don't need it)  and drop the meal plan? worth a try

Hi Everyone!

I've been following different people's posts for the past couple weeks and have decided to become a member.  My journey with raw paleo began this summer and has been encouraged after reading so many positive experiences.  I am 22 years old and have spent the last 9 years endlessly researching for the reasons/cure for my mystery illness.  This past June I was finally diagnosed with lyme disease.  I have literally tried everything to rebuild my health, which has brought me to raw paleo!  I am currently living on raw milk, raw beef, and raw butter.  While I'm working to rid my body of this infection with a doctor, this diet has been my saving grace for the last couple weeks to combat the debilitating fatigue I have lived with all of these years.  There is definitely something to this diet!!!  I am hoping for any and all suggestions to recover my health 100%.  I have read a lot about zero carb and I'm wondering if that is the next step I should take, but I'm not sure if I should give up the raw milk with all of its healing benefits.  I'm hoping to learn more that I can do to quickly recover so I can fully live my life!!  :)
