Raw Kale Chips are superwonderful. Dried in the dehydrator. If you try it, you might consider making Chocolate ones! HolyYum

Though the last few times I had Kale in salads I had indigestion. I think even a little bit of raw Spinach freaks out my tummy nowadays!

Someone in here mentioned Kale affecting their throat...that could be a thyroid issue. I read that Brassicas can irritate the thyroid. It would seem that cooking, and fermentation can both solve this.

I have some Kale growing in my garden right now, I think it is Dwarf Russian, its starting to get quite big and beautiful. I am also going to plant some Ornamental Kale... you know, this stuff.

I think I will use all of my Kale in soups and in fermented Krauts... KaleKraut!

"It is considered to be closer to wild cabbage than most domesticated forms." - Wikipedia on Kale... interesting

I am on my 4th day right now... 3 courses of 24 drops. (of 8% FoodGrade mind you.)

I will say that it is difficult to determine, with all of my constant Lifestyle Changes, what has been causing me to feel better over the past few days.

However, there is something in me that feels the Hydrogen Peroxide is actually helping. Thats really all I can offer but the feeling is real. Maybe as I go deeper things will become clearer.

Well long story short, I was a vegetarian for, I don't know, maybe a couple of years. Who knows with time. I had a dream where my doctor, or I guess ex-doctor (you know, pill-prescribing type'a guy)... he prescribed me Sausage. I was feeling weak at the time and took this sincerely as a possible suggestion from the Universe that I need to eat some meat. I actually had a few MeatDreams, but that was the straw that broke the Camel's back. At the time I was watching some Daniel Vitalis videos, and him going through a similar experience (going from RawVegan to MeatEatin') made it easier for me to integrate it myself. It was a bit weird... are we really going to eat meat after all these years?... Let's do it. We bought some sustainably caught Salmon from the HealthFood Store... and we ate it raw.  That seemed like a while ago and yet I'm still a RawMeat Beginner. (I ate a lot more cooked meat in the meantime) Its sort of a blur to me right now how I went from There to Here (being on this forum). jessica of ThisForum Fame has definitely been one of my inspirations to dive deeper. And uhh... yeah I'm reached my BrainLimit for now. My Brain literally feels inflamed right now. Maybe some Raw CowBrain will help me

Oh yeah and pardon for switching between "I" and "we". Thats going to happen... me and my TwinBro are both DopeDivinity. And we're both close enough to where pretty much anything I describe here applies to both of us. With the obvious exception of stuff like... the Sausage dream. But you know... there are actually Twins that enter into eachothers dreams... not us. Not that I conciously remember atleast... maybe when we were babies.

Oh, sorry if I spoke for the both of us. I definitely get high from raw cannabis. Like I said, in the example I gave, it was in a Raw Dairy-free IceCream made in the Vitamix, with Nuts, MapleSyrup or Honey, maybe Coconut Oil. One of the things I remember is seeing ClosedEyed visuals while I was doing yoga. As well as FunnyASsThings happening to our conciousness that Me'n'TwinBro got a kick out of.

Like I said, I might try that smoothie soon, and I'll post a report! I might be a little hesitant, because I'm rather certain I'll get high, and it can be pretty scary! lol. But on the flipside Fun and EyeOpening

I'll add that may cannabis may as well have High CBD levels. Ever heard of DJ Short?

I am definitely telling the truth, just giving my direct experience. I had this feeling that it would come off ridiculous to some, that I might come off Aajonus-y with my extreme-sounding claims... which really means maybe hes telling the truth? :)

Anyway, I gave a little bit of my "health history" in the Depression Success Stories thread. I am suspecting that there is major healing going on, and that is why I have such strange experiences. With all of my overdrinking selfdestruction, amongst other things (cannabis use, ORMUS ingestion, etc.), I've been through a diversity of WeirdStates of Conciousness. It only makes sense that I'll experience such when I ingest a superhealing substance. Afterall, with being a RawVegan for a period, and practicing excessive drinking, I certainly depleted my B-Vitamin stash to an extreme. And that Raw Kidney has like, 1500% Vitamin B12 per 3 oz serving!

I definitely feel like my MentalAttitude/ Conditioning plays a role here, and ironically enough, the High that I get from the RawMeat can bring that to the forefront, making me feel even stranger! Like I'm a PsychoManiac Zombie consuming RawFlesh.

I appreciate all of the advice... I will definitely try to take it slow, and be Intuitive. Ya know, after yesterdays "Highness" passed, there was a feeling like I have been Nourished. I felt Stronger, Warmer, more Grounded. I think eating RawMeat should get easier for me as I stabilize. I might have some RawLiver Pate today!

I read a theory that the high Selenium content in seafood "combats" any possible negative effects of the mercury. This theory says that if the mercury content is higher than the selenium content, you dont want to eat that fish. I think it gave Swordfish as an example of a specimen that has too high Mercury too little Selenium.

Whatever the theory, I dig the idea of not worrying about it! Fish is too damn good to worry whether or not they got dat ThermometerStuff in 'em

General Discussion / Weird Effects from RawMeat
« on: July 08, 2012, 12:15:59 pm »
So I haven't delved too much into RawMeat... I'm just beginning to scratch the surface. I am treading lightly... how can I not anyway, when RawMeat makes me feel Weird as F*cK?

The effects I get from RawMeat tend to be something I could liken to Cannabis. It does weird things to my temperament/conciousness.

The first raw meat I ate, breaking my streak of being a vegetarian, was Raw Salmon. It got me and my brother quite High. In a good way. We were playin'n'laughin... we asked "Is this what normal people feel like? Dude I feel so BlissfullyNormal right now that I could get married! LEEET'S GEET MAAARRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIED!"

Fastforward a bit to a RawSteak that me and my brother shared a week or so ago. When we ate it, we both started to feel high. Its doing weird things to our thought processes, like Cannabis can do. Certain aspects of our psyche are amplified. We are feeling a bit insane, and, browsing the forum, feeling like the members on here are insane too. We start having a bunch of weird thoughts on the subject that we are uncomfortable with. We then both take a walk, start talking to eachother, and come to grips with whats going on. The RawSteak SuckerPunch'd us with highness before we could assimilate that it was happening.

THEN, when we get home, I realize that I am coming down with a fever. It is definitely from the Steak. My brother didn't get a fever, but when we went to sleep, he had "Psychedelic Dream". Or, what he described as a "very real, incredible psychedelic experience",  experienced within the context of a dream. And yes, it was definitely from the Raw Steak.

So when I woke up the next morning, I stood up and... realized that I can't even stand up right. It was pretty scary, it felt really weird... I had to lay back down. My fever lasted a couple days.

Fastforward s'more to just earlier, when I ate some Raw Smelt and Raw Lamb Kidney. They were both very tasty and nourishing... but then some weird feelings pop up, similar to my other RawMeat Highs. Things feel amplified in a weird way, I feel like a fragile, shy little child, who others don't realize life is amplified to him in a way that makes it a bit scary and uncomfortable. I feel strange emotions that I have a hard time describing... sadness, for one. Also, Anger! I will feel irritable and more aggressive. The RawVegan in me says "the raw meat is making you a savage".

So, I would love to hear your opinions, or if I'm lucky, accounts of something similar happening to you, and you coming to grips with it and overcoming it.

I'm torn between:
"The RawMeat is making me feel weird because it is healing and/or detoxing me"

or

"Maybe theres a reason we have evolved to cook our meats..."

or even "Maybe its just not good for my situation!"

I am going to continue to experiment with raw meats, I just wanted to vent that, and hopefully get some insights from others on similar paths. Love'n'Bless

I can definitely vouch for trying out different meats. I had Raw Smelt and Raw Lamb Kidney earlier and I enjoyed them both. The Smelt tasted... in restrospect I'll say somewhat shrimpy... it was Cold with that SeaFlava. And of course I spiced it. The LambKidney smelled like urine, and tasted like the way the goats at the zoo smell, but in a good way. The texture was soft'n'gushy... really enjoyable. Also, this morning I had Raw BeefBoneMarrow... it tasted like Strawberry IceCream!

Health / Re: Depression success stories?
« on: July 08, 2012, 10:42:01 am »
I would consider myself a success story in the making. I have healed alot, but not completely. I believe in complete healing, of course, but it takes time, we have to understand that and try to keep things in context. Most of us have been on a course of degeneration our whole lives, from being 5 years old, eating Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, and getting our asses whipped with a wooden paddle. Its no wonder I still have Daddy issues...

Anyway, its been a long, confusing, blurry road. I'm remembering a time a few years ago, when me and my twin brother would drink a jug of Carlo Rossi daily. Or a bottle of Bombay Sapphire. And loads of 40s. My brother would complain of weird Head and EarPains brought on from the drinking, and I cared for him, but neither of us could stop. I remember this one time when I was playing music, and my brother told me to turn it off because hes not in the mood. I kept it playing because I didnt care. He left the house, and I went out to look for him, for fear that he might kill himself. We were both drunk... I was running around looking for him feeling hopeless and lost. Our relationship together was quite destroyed. We were total Nervous Wrecks. It was hell.

Since then there has been alot of changes, and lots of pain. There was progress, albeit slow, most often unnoticeable, to the point where the situation still appears hopeless. One day you're 100% in Hell, the next day 99.9999% in Hell.

To condense down years of progress into few words, we were raw vegan at one point, which helped, and then we started to deteriorate, so we eventually ate our first MeatMeal in a while... raw salmon. As far as alcohol goes, we "upgraded" to quality CraftBeers, homemade beers, etc. It was progress, but still we were overdoing it and destroying ourselves. It was the only way we felt "normal" and "happy", but at some point we had to stop.

Lately I've been having my share of crappy feelings, so once again, with all the negativity, it can be hard to notice how much things have improved. It is starting to become more clear, as the smoke clears more and more. My mood seems to be stabilizing significantly, even over the course of the past few days, being that I'm always making changes to try to help myself. We just cut out fruits (we had an unhealthy relationship with them), we just started Hydrogen Peroxide therapy and Urine therapy, we're taking OxBile to help digest our meals, etc.

As far as diet goes, I've been doing my own version of the GAPS diet, which I highly recommend. BoneBroths, yummy supernutritious CookedAnimalParts such as tongue, organs, Oxtail. Raw egg yolks, Juices, etc. And we've been working in some RawMeats as well.

We had raw Smelt and raw Lamb Kidney earlier. And we just had a meal of LambHeart and LambTongue, roasted in the oven. With OxBile of course. Yummy'n'Nourishing. When we were in the kitchen preparing our meal, our Mom said "you know you guys are looking better now... you're getting Meatier... remember when I said that you guys looked anorexic?"

What cherimoya says sounds valid, however my response would be that it sounds cool to put them all in one jar.  Sort of like making kimchi, with carrots radish beets ginger garlic onion etc.

Theres something special to putting multiple different organs from the same animal together... its like it would create a ShamanicSynergy.

18
You know how incredible it would be to eat of that specimen? Internal organs intact n' everything?

I'm reminded of the ancient "bog butter" and tallow that was discovered well-preserved, as well as ancient well-preserved specimens of cannabis. Whats the chances of me gettin at that shit? Just a bite... you can take the rest to your lab and do all ur testins

I love Durian. I just had some earlier today... 2 1/2lb logs of flesh, frozen, in a plastic box.

I've had it once, in whole form, albeit still prefrozen.

I would love to try it fresh... I would love to have as many as pictured in the first post! When I was eating it earlier, I was thinking... damn this is the Perfect Food.

And if you're interested in reading more in-depth...

If you're poor like me you can do what I did and get the book from a torrent website.

This subject really fascinates me, and I love brewing Indigenous-like beers. (to distinguish from conventional pasteurized Malt'n'Hop AlcoholicSodaPop) Unfortunately, my love for alcohol and the MysticalStates it offers brung me to a point where I can't tolerate it. Right now, local Apricot and Plum Trees are fruiting... me'n'bro put some of them in jars and let them ferment in their own juices... delicious, and a bit of a good buzz came from it... but it comes with bad reactions as well. I think my problem could be something like what jessica said, from the yeast. Like I need to balance my flora before my body accepts anymore yeast onslaughts.

Ya know, not too long ago I put some bananas in a jar, with some water, whey, SeaSalt, and a bit of wheatbeer yeast. I let it ferment for a couple of days. It was delicious, fizzyrefreshing, slightly alcoholic. Me'n'bro drunk the liquid and ate the mushyyummyfizzy bananas... I felt a good warm feeling without any negative effects noted.

I havent delved much into RawMeats myself... just Raw Salmon, which I find tasty, and Raw BeefSTeak, which I didn't much care for. Chewy, "slimy" as some put it, and the taste is a little weird. I also dont spice my cooked meats too much, and the raw meat didn't taste as good with the same spices. In fact, I had some boiled OxTail earlier that would've tasted good without any spices. :)

I am definitely going to try the SaltCure next time I'm looking to eat something like that Steak. I'm also going to be trying some Raw LambLiver soon... I have a feeling that will be a little tastier in its raw form.

General Discussion / Re: Hydrogen Peroxide therapy
« on: July 06, 2012, 12:44:22 pm »
I started when I made my first post, and just drunk my second glass of HydroPeroxide water not too long ago.

It doesnt seem to impart any taste that I can detect to the water... the undiluted has a smell but its not as strong as I remember, from when I was exposed to pharma grade hydrogen peroxide back in the day. 12:34

It is quite difficult to determine if I am feeling anything... I have been feeling different on a consistent basis, theres so many factors. Me and my brother had some boiled OxTail a few hours ago (WowDelicious), and soon after had a VeggieJuice. Somewhere in there my HeadFeeling flared up, and now at this point they are taming down, and I feel rather calm. Actually, strangely enough, I was feeling angry and irritable, and I Kicked a Kitten and that was where my headfeelings seemed to go away. Yay for KittenKickin'

However I feel like maybe its possible I am feeling something good from the HydroPeroxide, and I trust, after reading about its benefits, that its helpful for my situation

jessica, I'm not sure what "breathing exercises" are specifically... I do alternate nostril breathing sometimes. Breathing tends to be uncomfortable for me... oftentimes my will to suffer outweighs my will to breathe correctly. I could be doing more things like Yoga, I tend to be turned off by the "structuredness" of it though. Times are particularly challenging right now, Trampolining being one of my best options for getting the breathing/circulation going, I can't do that now because its too damn hot. I am camping out in the basement right now where its cooler... hmm its Midnight now, 83 degrees... maybe I can come out of hiding.

Cloud of Cancer is a way I can explain it, though I really couldn't tell you what Cancer in the head feels like and if its what I have going on. Right now it feels gentler... there is a presence in my head but it is not irritating. It flares up more intensely in different circumstances. It is provoked by certain foods and negative emotions, and certainly other things.

I got a bottle of 8% Hydrogen Peroxide, however it is Food Grade. I'm drinking a glass with 12 drops in it, which equates rather closely to the recommendation in the guide, given that in the guide they are telling you to use 35%.

I am going to go at the rate suggested in the link. And I will try to make this as "structured" as possible, perhaps document my progress somehow, so I have context of whats going on. It can be easy to become flustered and lose sight of your goals... I've learned this from trying to Fast...

General Discussion / Re: Hydrogen Peroxide therapy
« on: July 05, 2012, 11:11:31 am »
I just read that link that was posted... it definitely sounds like good stuff. I often feel DeOxygenated... my head particularly feels that way right now. It feels like theres a Cloud-of-Cancer in there.

I am going to my local HealthFood Store tomorrow and checking out their hydrogen peroxide. Assuming its reasonably priced, I will probably buy a bottle and get started immediately. I'm always making all kinds of changes in my regimen, but this sounds nice'n'simple and effective, and hopefully I'll be able to tell how it is affecting me.

Here I will also contribute a quote from Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, regarding Hydrogen Peroxide. I have been somewhat following her nutritional protocol (The GAPS Diet) and think she gives good advice.

"Question: Some people advise the use of hydrogen peroxide to get rid of the bad gut flora. Would that be a good idea? Could it help GAPS patients?
Natasha: The short answer is yes. However, due to taste and immediate die-off it is far from easy to take hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), and in my experience vast majority of people, having tried it, simply cannot do it. You need 35% food grade H2O2, which you can get in some health food stores. It is recommended that you start from a few drops per glass of water on an empty stomach once or twice daily, and gradually increase the concentration by adding one more drop at a time. Once consumed H2O2 breaks into water and free oxygen, which is considered to be the most deadly agent on this planet for any microbe. People with GERD, reflux and other stomach problems may find it helpful to take H2O2 on an empty stomach, because their problems are largely due to yeast overgrowth in the
stomach. After initial die-off, as the stomach becomes more sterile, the symptoms may clear. It is essential to use only food grade H2O2, as other preparations may have chemicals added to stabilise it. I don’t routinely recommend hydrogen peroxide, as it is quite harsh and can cause a very serious die-off reaction."

As me and my brother have been known to say... bring on the die-off. And then it actually happens and its like OH MY GOD THIS SUCKS FUCK YOU GOOOOD
