Off Topic / Re: Becoming the Iceman
« on: November 28, 2012, 03:36:53 pm »
I'm also training my body to become less sensitive for cold. I don't do swimming in cold water but I cycle in my t-shirt to and from work (+/- 1 hour cycle). Last week it was 2 degree Celsius I didn't  feel cold or something, the cold air tickles my skin but that's about it, it's more a kind of refreshing/free feeling. I'm also curious how long I can stand the cold (is it possible to cycle in freezing weather in your t-shirt?). I think it's good that you can withstand cold or heat, normal people can only function well in 20-25 degree Celsius anything outside that range and they cannot function any more.

The amount of salt used in chemical, fertilizer and de-icing purposes is many much more than the salt used in food. I don't think the salt companies have much to gain if people used more salt in their diet.

Potatoes (Some how I sleep better if I eat some potatoes every few days) and salty popcorn, once a month or so I eat really disgusting sad food because I feld like it (afterwords I'm sick but och I'm human :-) ).

I try mostly to stick with (raw) paleo foods, no wheats, no pufa's

Where are the COOKED Paleo Diet Testimonials for

- Terminal Cancer?
- Pneumonia?
- TB?
- The gravest cases of Psoriasis?

Cooked paleo diet / rare meat paleo diet can cure EASY CASES... but when the going gets TOUGH, you bet your BALLS on Raw Paleo Diet.

Next week my dad has the results of a biopsie I think it's cancer. I got my parents converted to cooked paleo with a mix of raw-vegan and weston price last week. I hope it's enough to reduce the cancer. Raw-paleo is not-yet an option. Offcourse they also follow the doctors with there poison/butchering. Don't know if one or both methods will kill off the cancer it's alright with me what ever cures it :-). At least they are eating real food now which is much better than the low-fat healthy crap they ate normally.

Mja, I thought so to:
"110,000 adults for more than 20 years"
How can you ever control exactly what those 110.000 people eat over a period of 20 years.
Ofcourse this is american beef full of growth hormone and factory farmed. then processed to have a long shelf life, then cooked in semi-solid diesel. Really strange that you die from it.
These are 110.000 normal American people 50% is obese, smokes, drink no exercise. Totally bogus research, maybe if you follow the money you can link it to a vegetarian or environmental group. (b.t.w. Lots of negative about Americans in this little post sorry about that, you can change it to any random chosen western society, it's all the same).

Been sick twice during rpd, one time from a piece of lamb meat (supermarket and reduced price) tasted like rockford cheese (I never ate lam before didn't know how it tasted like :-) ) was a day or so and one time from very well cooked meat been very sick of it 1 or 2 weeks that one was the worst food-poisoning I ever had.

Problems I have with rpd: I ate mostly fat muscle meat and that is not right (I don't like the taste of liver) added oranges and cooked-potatoes and lots of home made broth. Fixed hair loss and improved sleeping. Everything functions pretty well now.

Personals / Re: The Hague, Holland? Any Raw Paleo Diet and Lifestyle Tips?
« on: February 19, 2012, 11:42:17 pm »
I live very near to den haag, food quality in the Netherlands is very bad. It's near impossible to get good quality meat. The only meat you can get in large quantities is pork belly and minced meat, beef is very low in fat. Chicken is uneatable, fish is fine most of the time (don't buy it in super markets). Every single piece of food is f**ked some way or the other. Fruit is never ripe, vegetables are produced on hydro-culture.

Glad to hear it goes better, I think it takes 2+ weeks for your body to change to a new different diet. 811 is pretty extreme so maybe it is better to take small steps and increase the rpd over a few days and decrease the 811 stuff. I never did 811, came from raw-vegan didn't have much problems with rawbeef (none :-) ).

General Discussion / Re: Raw Fruitarian...good god, help me

I'm an ex-raw-vegan. Start easy with the meats just raw-beef will do nicely lots of B12's try to find grass-fed (no worry about a little fat, more fat is good). You can dry it for a day or 2 in the fridge if you like (no sealed bag! just open piece of meat) it gets a nicer taste. Try raw-organs if you are more experienced. Take little steps in about 2 weeks your body is adjusted to raw-meat.

Most of my meats are dry or covered with dark reddish slime. I try to avoid black or green molds, white is mostly oke.

I made a few drying rack's from these things:
http://www.voordeelmuis.nl/img/gif/738/738536.gif
see the rack on the middle left they have a small mesh. Did some welding on it so I can stack them, fits perfect in my fridge.
Works great.

See the BBC series "the human planet" in one of the episodes they show how it's done.

Me too, eaten moldy suet no probs, a little bit drier than usual.

I age my meat, last time it was a bit too long and it tasted like brie (french soft cheese) bit strange but I didn't get sick so it must be good enough :-).

Not a problem, remember NO sealed container and turn the meat every day or so.
fresh wet meat I don't like it as much.
Dry dark red surface good eatable
slimy brownish surface very good and tasty
dry redisch/gray not very tasty no good smell but eatable ?maybe avoid this kind of aged meat?. Don't know didn't get sick of it.

Primal Diet / Re: Need Ideas for Shaving Cream Please
« on: February 11, 2011, 07:33:56 pm »
Not a substitute but there was a spray-can of shaving cream leaking in my closet, I didn't know that so a few months later the paint of the closet shelf was dissolved. So I think you can use shaving cream as paint stripper, no nasty fumes and skin friendly :D.

Health / Re: Has anyone here ever had a defficiency?
« on: January 22, 2011, 07:02:23 pm »
Not that I know of (1.5 years+ now), I mainly eat raw-fat beef (grain or grass fed I don't know) some cooked fat pork meat and 1 or 2 pieces of fruit a day no veggies. It's winter around here not much sun, I think in December I got sick flu like maybe it's vitamine D linked, Now I eat a few herrings per week lot's of vit. D and raw. No problems since so coming winter I just eat some raw-fish when it's starting to get dark, if I don't get sick then there is an other mystery solved.

Which ones? I am pretty sure if i raced a horse or even an elephant i will lose.

Men can run for 24 hours or even 48 hours with little rest or eating. There is no other animal that can do that. they over heat pretty fast or must stop for eating or drinking men can eat and drink while running.

Now people run marathons, 40 really hard km's. only they eat wrong, they run wrong, there legs are really weak and there breathing is wrong no wonder they barely can run 40km.

Read born to run or if you can read dutch "de mens als duurloper" from jan knippenberg amazing stories about running (jan did 400 km's in 43 hours and he ran from the netherlands to stockholm just because he can).

Exercise / Bodybuilding / Re: How much running?
« on: December 13, 2010, 07:28:16 pm »
Hmm, I think running is not really necessary just do it for the fun of it. I think you can accomplish the same result with breathing exercises.

Maybe rope-jumping with breathing exercise will give you much better results than running. It could be true suppose you do rope jumping and breathing for 6 months or so, I think you can run 10km with ease without training for it.

A little like "lung gom pa" runners.

Hi, just my 2 cents NEVER put your meats in a air tight container as soon as you bought your meat's (check if the sell-date is very valid) open the package and place it in your fridge (you get very sick from closed packages) when it's open in the air you can leave it for at least 2 weeks without problems. When you eat fat-beef meat till your full every thing will be all-right and level out no need to go on a culinary paleo course.

Got a food poising also, 5 days of sickness. flashes of fever, diarrhea, -v, no appetite.

It was cooked meat only it was staying in a sealed polystyrene tray for 2 weeks.

Sealed is more hygienic  :).
