Yuri,
Ancient Chinese medicine believes adrenal are drained from energy with orgasm (semen loss); not advocating celibacy as a religious belief, but have you tried sexual abstinence? If you try, make an effort not to think about sex, just avoid arousal and the semen will help heal the body. That's my two cents, take it or leave it.

I had honeycomb before; I actually lived with the monks who had it and except for the wax, the honey was pretty liquid, probably even more than regular honey; I remember they had a transparent honey and a dark amber. They said it depends on what flower the bees eat from. And I also remember sometimes the honey had a slightly putrid smell mixed in. Nothing really bad, more like the smell of blood in ground meat.

well, Really Raw brand is actually as thick as butter, it will not move unless you scoop it out; Heavenly Organics has the label unheated, but who knows if it's true, it is really liquid like egg whites. And also it is supposed to be from the Himalayas. Long ways to America, shouldn't it be solid? Sounds suspicious.
Tyler, do you know why the people at Primal Diet Forum think Really Raw Honey isn't unheated?

Raw unheated honey or honeycomb is especially delicious when combined with mutton suet.
With egg yolks it's also toothsome.

Hey that's great! It hadn't occurred to me before when I ate bone marrow and made me gag, had to spread it on bread. I'm gonna try this, I guess it must taste like a kind of sweet cream.

Nevermind, I just went to the market and the butcher lady was honest enough to tell me that Smart brand is not certified organic meaning it could have been altered before hatching with antibiotics and hormones. But she got me some frozen organic beef  and wild caught oisters. I've been just a few days on this plus egss and avocado and watermelon and my libido is driving me crazy  -d lol

I said venison but it's actually bison that I'm getting on friday, organs and fat. But for now I thought about bying chicken at the supermarket. They have a brand called "Smart Chicken". In the web site it says it is free range too.
I thought that my reaction to the non organic beef I eat yesterday had to do with antibiotics and hormones they inject more than with the grains they feed them.
What do you think? I don't know if I'm allergic to anything, I'm southamerican and we don't look into that stuff.

Detergent is the word. That's the after taste. I'm gonna have to buy the organic chicken they sell at the supermarket, but I'm not used to chicken, more normally I eat red meat. Well just in the meantime while I get my venison on Friday. Is raw organic chicken good by itself? or is it better to marinate it?

Last night I was feeling really congested in the sinus and throat, in a way beyond normal. I thought it might have been from smoking the night before; after I ate some raw honey it went away and today I was ok. Later on today, I had half a pound of chuck eye from the supermarket, not organic. Immediately after and still now after several hours I'm feeling the same horrible throat and sinus congestion and realized that actually last night I started to feel the same after eating the same kind of meat. It might be the toxic substances they inject into non organic cows? It really dries the throat and sinus. Or maybe is this a normal reaction?

Does the honeycomb guarantee it is unheated? I remember eating honeycomb at a monastery, it was delicious.

Thank you guys; last night, as I was posting, I was getting a bad sore throat from going out the night before to the bars to drink beer and smoke cigarettes(I habit I'm trying to quit). Then I opened the jar of honey that looks amber and runny, Heavenly Organics, a little worried that the label unheated might be fake. Well, I ate 3 spoonfuls, and within 20 minutes the sore-throat was gone. Unbelievable, it normally takes days or weeks to get rid of it. And today no sore at all. But I'm gonna stick to Real Raw since it looks more authentic. I thought I should post this little experiment though.
Please let me know what the guys at the other forum say.
Thanks.

Primal Diet / Raw Unheated Honey
« on: November 30, 2009, 02:56:53 pm »
Hi, I've bought raw honey from the store, and was wondering since there are two brands available, and they are quite different; one is Really Raw Honey and the other is Heavenly Organics. Both claim to be raw, unheated, organic. Really Raw brand looks white, creamy and has some wax and pollen at the top. It is very thick. Heavenly Organics brand looks just like a regular honey, it is runny and amber, but it has a label USDA Organic. Is it possible that this is not really unprocessed? Which one is better? Maybe both are ok and just different kinds?

thank you Dan, now I understand, so you eat 2 pounds of animal a day, I would say I'll eat 1 or 1 and a half pounds; is that all you eat? I can't believe you are 180 lbs with that diet, I'm trying to increase my weight and I cant, maybe you are taller.
I just came from the supermarket and bought a pound of chuck eye beef, wich looks marbled like a rib eye, only cheaper. It doesn't say anywhere that it is organic, but I wont get my bison until next week; in that case is chuck eye relatively safe to eat? (regarding antibiotics and hormones). I remember Aajanous wrote some parts of the cow are less contaminated.

so if i weight 120 (which I've been since I was 15 lol) that means I would eat 1/4 of that in fat? I didn't get it sorry.
Regarding carbs, I was hipoglicemic when I was 10 years old, but my dad made me have a strict diet of zero sugars low carbs for 4 years and it was gone. Now because I didn't eat the sweets I don't like them, but it's difficult to not eat a little rice or bread. Whenever I tried this diet I abandoned it because the hunger for starches was irresistible, I would feel that I was always on an empty stomach. But maybe because i didn't eat fats, that might be it.
Right now I get raw eggs, raw beef and organs, olive and flax seed oils. Maybe I'll add a fruit and a tomato here and there. Does it sound right? How about raw honey? I'll try that as well

Dan, did you mean that you eat 1/4 to 1/3 of fat per meat, or the other way?

thank you guys; regarding the colloidal silver the question is if it would be counterproductive. I have the feeling that it would in some way destroy all the benefits of raw meat, although I don't know maybe it's not that way.
And regarding the calorie ratio to fat and protein, please help me here, I don't have any idea of nutrition much less of math, I was raised in a country where you never measure anything, not even to build houses!  -\lol. Just an example of what a serving would be would save me a lot of trouble and time trying to figure this out.
Again, I appreciate the help

Hi All!
I don't know how to input my gender at login but I'm male.
Ok, I've been flirting with the diet for about 5 years, on and off, didn't stay longer because bad habits are difficult to erradicate, like drinkin, smoking and eating habits. I'm starting again, but don't really know what's the best for me to follow. I weight about 120 pounds, 30 years old. I always got hungry if I only eat raw meat and no starches, but being reading about eating more fat and organs. Tried some marrow, heart and liver from northbison.com and it was good, but had to eat the marrow with some bread.
What would be the right amount of fat and meat? I would even try the high meat.
Another question: I read is better to stay clear off supplements, but just bought two of them: liquidmd (an algae product) and colloidal silver; I did it because a friend of mine just died of HIV and have been thinking about it since I myself had unprotected sex  a couple of instances the last month (not with my friend who I never had sex with) and I'm worried and somebody suggested this products to enhance the inmune system in case. I hope I didn't get std's but also think it wouldn't hurt to try this products.
My concern is, especially with the colloidal silver, would it be ok, or would it kill also beneficial bacteria?
I'm sorry if I broke any forum rule, but please reply this, it would clear many doubts.
Thanks a lot
