General Discussion / Re: Coconut oil detox
« on: November 04, 2014, 06:19:48 am »
I'm not sure why you'd say this, so I'd have to disagree - heavy metals are not the only things that can plague a person. Of the four channels of elimination (pee, poop, lungs, and skin), relying on the skin only for all your detox needs is limiting.

It's called sympathetic magic. Now, can certain blends of herbs etc... make a person feel better? Sure; can they "detoxify" a person? No. There is absolutely no evidence to support that claim. None.

In fact, it's an old myth...

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2668399

But, again, if it makes you feel better there is no reason to stop ... but, it's not "detoxifying" anything.

No and no. It's all BS by the way, this "detox" stuff.

The only effective way to get rid of some heavy metals is to sweat them out, like at a Sauna.

General Discussion / Re: Raw freeze dried pet food?
« on: November 04, 2014, 03:20:35 am »
I'm asking your opinions, but that doesn't mean I ever just rely on other people's opinions to make my decisions or gauge my own health. Yhis was meant to be a discussion, was curious to see if other people have tried it and things like that. Not everyone has access to perfect optimal food all the time, whatever that means, and just because something is though to be in alignment with "paleo" doesn't mean that it's a healthy food for everyone. When I eat fresh ripe organic fruit, for example, I feel very bad these days. I'm intolerant to nuts snd seeds. Everyyyyything irritates my digestion these days. I've been raw for 8 years now, only in the past two years did I start even TRYING more processed "raw" and "paleo" foods. Otherwise I ate only whole fresh foods and my health was even worse than it is now, so idk I haven't found the sweet spot for how to eat best for me personally, so I'm experimenting. Please be respectful of that, as I am respectful of any questions you may have or decisions you make.  Thank you for any input! :)

It's fine for a few months but I would not make it the center of your diet because you will develop vitamin deficiencies, in fact I suspect that you're already deficient in one of the B-Vitamins and a lot of your issues are coming from high levels of homo-cysteine that are not being properly converted (when is the last time you saw a Doctor?).

Another goodie would be canned sardines which are packed with nutrition. Cheap, easy to carry and easy to store.

Slaves of the past (including America) were not allowed to eat meat. They were put on vegan or vegetarian diets. Slave owners remarked that this diet made the slaves just strong enough to work, but too weak to run away. Smart enough to obey but not bright enough to make long-term plans.

Willie lynch (who also made a speech on how to create a slave) wrote at length about what you should feed a slave and why.

There is a reason Watermelon is associated with blacks in the U.S ... It was part of the slave diet.

Here is an interesting (but not completely related) part...

"Therefore, if you break the FEMALE mother, she will BREAK the offspring in its early years of development; and when the offspring is old enough to work, she will deliver it up to you,
for her normal female protective tendencies will have been lost in the original breaking process." -Willie Lynch

That's still at work today in modern society and that's why in less developed countries there is so much feigned concern with "Educating girls" when they really mean BREAK them and then they deliver the next generation into their system to pay taxes without question.

(P.S yes I know some consider it to be a hoax, but, the Lynch manual is not the only slave manual in existence and it's pretty much the same story in each one.)

The study doesn't conclude that Humans are not members of the same species. The study says that they believe that the original Homo Sapiens came from Central Europe / Levant and parts of Russia because more anatomically correct modern human skeletons are found there than they are in Africa.

Also, 30 years of evidence and peer reviewed studies cannot be "debunked" by one study alone. It's an interesting theory, but, it needs more evidence before it displaces the currently accepted OOA theory.

(P.S "Erectus walks amongst us" is a well know white supremacist site, written by one. Linked to by god knows how many WS sites. It uses pseudo science as "references" and some of the references aren't even references at all... Just lines of text written by the author himself.)

General Discussion / Re: Humans Natural/Optimal Habitat
« on: July 01, 2014, 03:09:43 am »
Part of the reason Humans have been so successful is that we're highly adaptable to different environments. I doubt there is an "optimal" habitat for humans, but, with the majority of vacationers always heading to tropical locations (not too mention all of the tropical wallpapers, screen-savers etc) it makes me think that perhaps that is the ideal for most Humans.

Health / Re: how to handle anxiety/stress/panic attacks
« on: July 01, 2014, 02:51:35 am »
When it comes to diet the best thing you can do to prevent panic attacks is to stay away from stimulants and depressants -- Caffeine, Nicotine, Alcohol, Ginseng etc.

But anxiety and panic attacks are more of a mental issue than a dietary problem. You may want to try meditation and some low-intensity cardio work outs. I'm sure you can find a Yoga class in your area.

Magnesium, Vitamin D and Glutamine supplementation may also help.

Health / Re: How to deal with Lyme Disease?
« on: July 01, 2014, 02:47:31 am »
They did not give you antibiotics at the time? Lyme can be treated with antibiotics most of the time if it's in it's early stages.

If you've had it for a long time now ... I don't think antibiotics can do much about it anymore, you probably should give raw-al's links a try .. because modern medicine doesn't have much treatment for late-stage Lyme... :(

Actually, in the ancient world when slavery was rampant, it was customary to treat slaves extremely well,. as long as they behaved. The reason for this was that they were perceived as being "property" and one does not damage a piece of property one owns for fear of it losing its value. At any rate,  there are farms where animals are treated well. They admittedly do not get the right to roam too far, but, on the other hand, they are less likely to be savagely killed by predators' claws, nor will they suffer from thirst or starvation as much as they would do in the wild, and so on.

Anyways the debate on how animals spend their last seconds or minutes on this planet is a smoke-screen for the old debate - How animals who live for years are treated, that's the real fight.

Animals that give their lives to keep us alive deserve respect.

Not all farms are the same and some farmers treat their animals very well, but, there are still many farms that are ... sickening.

What if homosexual tendencies among men and women are an adaptation to check population size while avoiding mass starvation, war, disease epidemics, etc? Perhaps when population reaches a certain density, something within our genome is activated (or inactivated) and we see an increased incidence of homosexuality, which eventually reduces fertility rates.

Or perhaps there is some sort of social trauma caused by high population densities and the social ills that follow from it that predisposes young men and women to prefer same-sex partners?

I've always though that theory number one has merit. Homosexuality may be a sort of natural population control.

But, we also cannot ignore the evidence that we're ingesting a lot, lot more estrogen in our diet and water than we used to and the BPA wasn't helping.

It's also interesting to note that male homosexuality has gone up, Lesbianism however... has stayed relatively stable.

Current scientific evidence shows that we are descended from the common ancestor of the common chimpanzee, not bonobos. Makes sense as bonobos are way too peaceful and friendly compared to standard chimpanzees.

Bonobos share the common ancestor of the chimpanzee. We're related to both of them.

ROFL....

So much bad science here, so much.   :'(

What is wrong with YOU?

I am an altruistic computer geek who supports this forum to benefit all of humanity who wants to learn about raw paleo diets and lifestyles that improves everyone's lives... which of course includes their total health and fertility.

If I thought like you... I would have long sabotaged this forum to destroy information here so that no one would benefit... because most of humanity deserves to die according to your over population religion.

Some ALTRUISTIC people like me need to do this INVESTIGATION at the behest of people like YOU who wish the TRUTH to be buried in the name of depopulation.

1. Nothing, I can count.

2. Possibly, you're a computer geek. Not a medical geek.

3. No one has to die, we have contraception, media and social shame.

4. Altruistic, I'm sure you are. Honestly. But, 20,000 humans die per day from starvation ... that's a fact and that fact is expanding.

14
You know... I hate to say this but I think the early psychologists were right. People that fear homosexuals to an eccentric degree are probably trying to repress some sort of homosexual feelings within themselves.

Like I said, if I was going to the bar with 4 gay men... That would mean no competition from them. What's not to like about that?

What do I care if Gary wants to date Jeff, good for them.

I'm focused on Cindy. :)

Amazing find!

These American Indian 2 spirit people seem to be like what Filipinos today.
Although it requires further investigation if this was more common before the Europeans arrived.
So we can directly compare the American Indian with the opposite extreme, the isolated African tribes... who had no idea of homosexuality or androgyny.

But again as you can see there is a difference in RACE.  The isolated African tribes were black.  While these american indians are RED skins.

Interesting please contribute more links if you have any.

Seems the keyword for american indian homosexuality is "two spirits"

Wrong.

Homosexuality was well documented in writings and the oral traditions of both the Malinese and Axumite empires. African.

16
these "two spirit" native american peoples, are not the same as the cultural "rainbow" homosexuality we see today though. they sound more or less just like well rounded people that do not mold themselves to any set gender role; on the contrary modern homosexual culture is just that, a culture, one of depravity and self destruction. they do not compare

and either way, just because some tribes exhibited "two spirit" tendencies, does not validate the modern homosexual culture and its depravity and self destructive ways. and while you are not using it as such, it is the kind of thing that could be used as propaganda to convince subject people that the modern homosexual culture is "natural" on the grounds that some tribes were not so rigid in gender roles (which isn't a bad thing)

we have to be willing to make that distinction; otherwise its like saying modern humans should eat a harmful, genetically modified version of a food, because other humans once ate said food in its natural form ages ago

Stupid argument. Homosexuality is not "new" or "scientifically" designed. Homosexual humans have been around since the dawn of our species, we inherited it from the Bonobos most likely.

More chicks for me (I'm a male by the way) that's how I see it.

17
I live in a culture where limiting family size is considered highly virtuous, but that does not make me qualified to dictate what other cultures do. Nothing is wrong with people who hold different opinions and follow different practices. Insulting others does not make you right.

Human population is not "out of control." The population of all plant and animal species waxes and wanes. As much as our super-technological age wants to believe that it can engineer everything, natural forces will prove our folly.

1. Right is right just as 2x2 = 4.

2. Yes it is, we add about 1 billion human beings per decade now. - How much food does each animal we eat consume? Now compare that food to what could be used to feed the humans. The Human population is not out of control? The math says otherwise.

18
Also ... 2kg of meat is way too much. You're putting too much load on your kidneys.

Hi everyone,

it's a long time since I was here. I was ill, stopped paleo because I thought it was the reason,  tried loads of different diet ideas again like the ph diet, whole grain diet, cooked a lot tried fruitarianism, juicing etc. I lost a lot of weight on my way (and all my muscles), was totally emaciated. 36 kg for 1.65 m.
I couldn't gain the weight back till a friend of mine (Löwenherz :)) brought me back to paleo and showed me how to eat for weight gain. I started eating 1 to one and a half kg of hyper fatty meet (mostly beef), ca 200 g of fatty fish, with perhaps 200 to 300 g of butter with some egg yolks, raw goat cheese and  gelatin every day, took loads of digestive enzymes and probiotiques and glutamie, and 100 to 200 g of freshly made coconut cream. Almost no veggies and fruits, but a bit of green juice, some avocados. I gained almost 8 kg in 3 weeks but after it my belly hurted and felt very inflamed and I was totally tired (but soooo greatfull that I  looked like a human being again) .
Since then I calmed down, stopped the dairy because it gave me stomach inflammation, just take raw butter sometimes.
I still eat a lot of meat, some organs and a lot of fat. Yesterday night a blood vessel in my eye crashed. Also I get spiderveins again, the same problem I had when I first tried raw paleo. I would like to know the cause because I feel so good and strong with my new diet and don't want to dump everything again.
My thoughts about it are:
- it could be that I eat to much of this incredible saturated fat, this very chalky and dry beef and lamb fat witch sticks to the teet and tonge?
-could be that I eat to much red meet?
- not enough veggies?
-my body is to acidic with all that meat?
sometimes after I eat I take some peace of fatty meat with lots of collagen and fat on it and I chew on it for hours to calm me down (before I was a bit chewing gum addicted)
Perhaps this is not good because with that I have a constant supply of fat, proteins, collagen even after I eat?
This very hard beef fat I eat, a lot of people say that it is not good for health. It is so dense and sticky, I don't now if it is very digestable or digestable at all. Butter feels a lot softer in my mouth, but I don't now if it is better for digestion and health. Perhaps I will do more coconut now as I'm not so much under this weight gaining pressure any more (I never managed gaining weight with coconut a my staple fat)
But I still have so much of this hard beef fat in my fridge and it is so easy to get loads of it.
What are your experiences with hard beef fat?
Is there a way to make it more digestible? As an example mixing it with lecithin or ACV or berries or egg yolk or sauerkraut?
What could be the reason that my bloodvessels burst?
What can I do to prevent further damage, are there supplements to take.
Should I make more veggies, salads, green juices, teas?

You're supposed to have a balance. Meat is good and so are veggies... fruit in moderation.

Humans evolved mostly on plants and meat. Plants, veggies, won't hurt you.

Processed shit, will.

Nothing wrong with adding a salad, or butter soaked asparagus to your meal.

Just stick with the non-starchy veggies and you're golden. Starchy veg not only plays with one's insulin ... but they're pretty much devoid of nutrients as well.

He was pointing out that the parasites do not survive long in the human digestive tract, being designed to live in fish, so that there is no need to be foolish and worry about parasites as they usually are not a long-term issue.

You have zero medical knowledge and have never worked in a hospital setting and it shows. Stop making up fairy tale medicine, it's not funny.

Fish with visible parasites within the flesh are dangerous to Humans.

The Annunaki are good as gold though.

Again, you have missed the point. Many domestic animals are raised peacefully in conditions of luxury compared to the wild. I am thinking of course of organic/grassfed animals, in this regard, as these routinely feed outdoors and have extensive ranges etc., plus get regular feed even in winter via silage. I  myself eat raw wild game  which have led wonderful, free lives  until they were suddenly and quickly and mercifully  killed by a bullet in the head. Slicing the throat, by contrast, is a nasty slow death. If you were to be executed, would you prefer a quick death  to  a slow one? I rather think so.

You completely dodged the point. Is the life of a farm animal a good life (in general, I am certain there are a few farms that treat their products well)?

Your Disney description of farm life is funny. Let's face it. They're slaves. They live until we decide to kill them, their life is about what we taste on our tongues nothing more.

Fast / slow - seems pretty simplistic, no? I'd prefer living above all else.

Nature, btw, prefers slow death. That's why it's so fond of crippling disease and age.

Again, hooray for us.

22
You are wasting your time. Too many of us have seen doctors only for us to get routinely misdiagnosed or nearly killed by modern medicine etc. We try rawpalaoediets because doctors and other methods have failed us.

They're children, not, lab rats.
