You should be fine, the reasoning that guy gave doesn't really make much sense to me. As long as you don't overtrain yourself. Be careful of joints like your shoulders and your hips, which are placed under quite a bit of stress when swimming.

Also, 300-400 calories? That's nothing. I guess I've been swimming for a while, but I think i could put down an entire day's worth of calories after I swim - it really gives me the munchies.

Health / Re: Rabies?
« on: February 20, 2010, 04:13:18 pm »
Cats, dogs and cattle account for nearly 90 percent of rabies cases in domestic animals, with horses, mules, sheep, goats and ferrets making up the remaining cases.Among wild animals, the disease is most often reported in skunks and raccoons.Other wild species in this country in which rabies is commonly found include bats, foxes, and rodents. The rabies virus, present in the saliva of an infected animal, is usually spread by a bite or scratch that punctures the victim's skin. Hope this helps.

Chest pain is one of the most frightening symptoms a person can have. It is sometimes difficult even for a doctor or other medical professional to tell what is causing chest pain and whether it is life-threatening. Any part of the chest can be the cause of the pain including the heart, lungs, esophagus, muscle, bone, and skin. This things should be consulted to a doctor right away.

Hi, I've read your wife's story, it was a very informative. I would like to ask if the symptoms of  having gout are the following?

- sudden attack of joint pain
- swelling
- joints feel hot, tender and look dusty red or bruised

I've recently got injured on basketball and since then I keep on feeling those things. At first I thought it was only a slight bruised or something but I'm on my 2nd week and still the same injuries.

can you recommend to me a very good product but is more on natural fruit or something. im kinda worried with all the products available now, it seems that they are more likely to harm your skin rather than help it.
