Primal Diet / Primal Diet recipes
« on: March 24, 2010, 05:14:30 am »
Hey guys,
I just found a raw dairy farm and now have access to raw cream, raw butter and cheese(both unsalted), raw yogurt and raw milk. On top of that i have access to raw honey, pastured free range eggs and all sorts of meats.
Now that i have this stuff i've been experiementing with how to use it. I like mixing raw cream with organic bananas, and the raw yogurt helps with digestion. I was wondering how aajonus suggests we use the cheese or the butter, as both don't really have any flavour and the raw honey by itself is too sugary. The eggs are alright by themselves (i don't eat the whites) but i'm wondering if there's any way to combine them to make better use, besides a liver flush (combine with fats and lime juice).
Any all round decent recipes you guys can suggest??

Mod: just tried mixing equal amounts of raw unsalted butter and raw honey...pretty damn good  :D

KD- thank you for the resource and the absence of attack on my charactor...i have to admit that took be aback :o

leanne- your right, i had overlooked that fact. Personally i would choose beef or perhaps wild game meat for zinc merely because pumpkin seeds, although the highest concentration of vegetarian zinc, are hard to digest and contain many antinutrients unless germinated. Red meat also seems to have an "x factor" in libido. There was a study done comparing vegetarians and omnivores. They found that with the comsumption of RED meat (those who ate chiaken but no beef didn't have this trait) had a stronger DESIRE for sex, although thier performance was equal. i've never noticed that in me, but it's interesting to note. I personally find raw dariy to be the best recovery in terms of semen and sexual energy but my body's fucked up so...yeah :)

Raw Kyle- Many people live long times with diseases because of modern medicine. Before modern medicine the lifespan was MUCH lower for the ones with serious uncurable (for thier time and limited knowledge) diseases. Don't let diet become a religion, no diet is a cure-all or ultimate protection from all unwanted conditions. Diet and the concept of immortality are completely unrelated, even though this is a diet forum (lol). I really don't feel like defending the concept of immortality or even unnaturally long lifespans, cause ultimatly talk is cheap, but i'll try to have some fun -d
Try to conceptualize someone with an extremely long life. Think about how abnormal it would make one seem, how much attention they would get in the news and the media and especially how much attention they'd get from scientists. I pose that if anyone COULD reach this state they wouldn't want it to be known to the common public. Think if the government got a hold of them and decided to do crazy tests to try to find his secret or take samples of his DNA to try and make a tonic out of it and splice people with this person's genes to extend lifespans.
Plus as we all know diet alone cannot extend life, it can only ward off disease and premature death, so saying rpd or anyother diet is the way to do it is silly. Even a restricted calorie raw vegan diet (which for sum reason has a spiritual undertone) would harldy increase lifespan. No average person who is a regular part of society could possibly achieve such a state as society tends to breed unhealthy behaviours (depending on your view of what health means; and yes it's subjective). It's similar to holding your breath for long stretches, lifting cars, and other great acts; you cannot look at the common public as examples for greatness because none of us seem to be concerned with bettering ourselves and realizing our potential or finding truth through scientific method...

There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all argument and which cannot fail to keep man in everlasting ignorance... That principle is condemnation before investigation.

The greatest quote of all time for the true seeker.

And you're rite, obsessing over lifespan is attachment to the self, usually comes from the great love of self. Similar to if you love your spouse or your child you are attached to them and don't want them to leave. If you truely love yourself then death is a legitimate fear/attachemtn if you believe that the "you" you identify yourself as disappears after death. Why even attach yourself to anything in this world? Why obsess over a job? why obsess over a family? why obsess over anything? because we desire them and if there's a risk of losing them we want to do our very best to ensure protecting them, even if for selfish reasons. Could a mother kill her son even if it would save him from agony? something to ponder.
As for being a prisoner of rules, i too dislike that idea, however rules give structure, which is pleasant, at least to me. Without rules we'd live in our dreams. We are all bound by the laws of nature, the laws of science. It is by these laws that all discovery must be made in this world. It is a great discovery that by not cooking your food you can live in better health, however what else is possible in these rules? We'l never find out unless we never stop trying.

leanne-...thanks for sharing your opinions. Also flaxseed build semen through zinc aminos and sugars mostly. Raw oysters are a superior way to build semen if you'd like to give it a shot, it'll give him a full load within hours if thats what gets you off.
Non-ejaculatory sex is more of a spiritual thing and also it allows the man to orgasm multiple times until he's satisfied and then CHOOSE to ejaculate or not. It's basically Mastering a system of your body, not limiting it. Just thought i'd make sure that be understood in case of any misconceptions.

Primal Diet / Re: Milk egg drink
« on: March 23, 2010, 12:27:27 am »
jarnapal- Actually i just know that egg yolks act as a liver tonic (though apparently so do lemons/limes). Scientifically speaking any high cholesterol, high fat meal with lecithin will work. What it does is the high fat triggers the release of bile. Bile acts as a medium for the liver to release fat-soluble toxins to expel through the bowl. By adding the extra cholesterol and lecithin you give the building blocks for new bile so the old bile is simply expelled with the toxins and new bile is made. Any excess choleserol would be expelled, agains, with fat soluble toxins. Thats the theory. So I figured anything with egg yolks. Since i had alot of milk and refuse to drink water out of tap or plastic bottles, my choice was clear, lol.

Though now it seems best to use lemon/lime juice and sum extra fat, like oil, butter or cream with the eggs for optimal results.

Also as Rawzi stated, milk should be drunk at room temperature, if it's cold it'll cause digestive distress. I actually just take 2-4 quarts and leave it out overnight(5-8hrs for cold ass fridge) and sip it during the day. Also don't drink alot at once and don't guzzle/chug it. I chugged about 1 1/2 quarts at work last night and it "stayed with me" for about 7 hours, lol.

Hans- thx I'll look into this person and her system, it sounds interesting :D

KD- You bring up a good point, no i have not met these people, however i kinds got the feeling that roger was "easily exitable" from some email conversations we've had. He's turned his raw experience and knowledge into a marketing strategy. He was 3-4 diff websites and tons of products that personally i would teach for free if they really worked. For example i got his "Lightning Fitness Program" a long time ago and it consisted of two exercises that were well enough explained to try, one was running in place and the other was putting your hands on the floor and walking backwards up a wall ??? . Though honestly i still think he looks young and he's fairly well built for a man who claims to eat nothing but fruit. However i'm afraid the raw vegan movemnt has become as a cult, similar to the "green" movement and thus is subject to "radicalists" who will be hyper regardless of thier diet. I know many campagners for greenpeace who ate a wide variety of diets, sum cooked sum raw, sum vegan, sum not...and they all acted like a typical raw vegan, very nervous, antsy, quick to speak but slow to think... Personally i think it has more to do with the mindset, the culture and the "image" involved rather than the nutrition (or lack of) that is the main factor influencing behaviour.

As for Storm he let out a new program 2 months or so ago that stressed the importance of an "100% raw diet". However I don't think they're in it for the money as Roger seems to be so i don't think they're going to keep making new products trying to say the same thing 5 billion ways. Also they seem much more calm and they actually eat alot of raw vegan fats such as OO, nuts, avocados, etc which i think is a crutial part. 80/10/10 is a trendy psuedo religion in my view, not a health promoting diet. But either way he did start showing signs of aging around his early 60s in the photos, though when i reach that age i wouldn't care how i look i'd care what i can do ;)

And honestly with all of the research i've done I think veganism(raw) is nothing but a watered down fasting. I mean unless you're a sproutarian who then cooks...it's like impossible to get any nutrition. I mean the phytates alone in most greens are enough to create a defficiency if they're one of your main sources of food; most veggies and nuts are PACKED with phytates. On top of that you've got the plant fiber which can't digest; many of the nutrients are bound in the fiber and go unassimilated. Fruits i can see working, lettuces, grasses, etc seem to work. Nuts...in small quantities and especially if sprouted then ground and turned into nutmilk. But even then, i used to ground up chia seed into a powder, mix it with water and add raw honey. It worked out great until i realized the sharp chunks weren't getting digested and ended up getting my intestines literally cut up (there were traces of blood to verify). I think it verily DOES cause defficiency but they play off the symptoms as "detox". I say if people can live off of junk food and McDonalds for years and years and still appear in good health then so can a raw vegan, but eventually they'll have to face the consequences of thier choices.

Though veganism seems to work as a transition to a transendental state of consciousness it does not work as a long-term health promoting diet in and of itself. Thats where i stand personally.

I have indeed done this. I daily drank 1 glass of milk with 6 egg yolks as a liver tonic. I didn't seem to digest it :(. Other than burping it occasionally, i never feel weak or dizzy or anything, but i certainly don't think my body can handle that much at once unles i've been doing heavy exercise....my digestion is rather weak -[

Hans- The latter. Retention of a man's semen is viewed as retaining one's sexual energy or essence (jing). As for having sex it's best to do it as often as you can and for as long as you want (as you'll basically last forever anyway once you've mastered this). It's basically being able to separate orgasm from ejaculation (there IS a diff) and experiencing orgasm indefinatly. Eventually you learn to "move" this feeling around your body and up your spine along with some other fun exercises. You should look up mantak chia and tantra for more info. There's also a plethora of books on the topic.

majormark- The vegan phenomena is indeed an interesting one that still puzzles me. It's almost as if they've lowered thier need for nutrition in some way, because it's proven that there's not NEARLY enough nutrients in plant foods alone. Yet if you read ancient taoists master speak on diet they will say that the "enlightened" do not require animal products, but the non-enlightened do...which i found strange, what makes these "enlightened" peoples' bodies diff??? I too do not think a person of average consciousness can thrive on a vegan diet, but if there are exercises(physical, mental or otherwise) that can make that possible, this would be one hell of a discovery!

And yes calorie restriction and fasting too seem to add to the equation. I'm sure there's more i've left out, eventually i'll find it all. I want to travel the world in search of the oldest and healthiest societies and individuals to learn thier secrets. I'm also trying to find text on taoist sages to see if it describes any changes that take place (physically) with certain practices.

And also, yes, the raw food diet is only one component, and seemingly one of little importance compared to others. Again there are VERY healthy individuals out there who still eat cooked food, but use other practises to keep thier health in check. For example a creater of the liver flush, Andea Mortiz(spelling) seems to be in rather good health despite his nearly 100% cooked food diet. He uses colonics, liver flushes and herbs to protect and tone his body and organs, along with yoga as well. Ayurveda and TCM have been around for AWHILE, i'm sure there's more too them then we give credit for.

Yeah immortality is a spiritual matter. The only documaneted cases are from ancient manuscripts of chinese hermits, daoist sages, martial arts masters, high priests, yogis, etc. To transcend death you must first transcend the world which means transcending the need to eat at all, so i think for 99% of the world immortality is out of the question unless you use the theory if the lightbody.
As for extended age...well there's massive amounts of theories on that one, lol. I'll constantly use Luigi Cornalo as an example but there are certain things which are known as anti-aging which i'll list
1.) Raw Food Diet. Obviously some of the youngest looking old-heads are raw fooders. two examples off the top of my head are
Storm Talifero- http://thegardendiet.com/storm.html
Roger Haeska- http://rogerhaeske.com/
2.) Exercise- What makes the raw food diet work, imo, is exercise. Everyone who succeeds are usually very active, those who fail are the couch potatoes. exercises just conditions your body to work optimally imo.
3.) Internal energy work- Things like Tai-Chi, Yoga, Qi-gong, meditation and the like are definatly overlooked factors. I mean look at the yogis who end up living well past 100, martial artists too
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eU6MBn_nvaQ
4.)Non-ejaculatory sex. this is toated by daoist masters as a HUGE anti-aging agent. I know 2 practitioners of what's called "sexual kung-fu" who both eat a 100% cooked diet (TCM Practitioners) and are as young and healthy as raw foodists.
5.) Learning. A study done on brain placidity showed that keeping the mind active and continually learning new things and experiencing new things keeps the mind young which in turn keeps the body going.

Honestly I think daoists have the most comprehensive source of longevity. You can find books under search phrase "taoist immortals" and find a nice list of things that contribute to longevity from thier perspective. you'll note that the more you study diff cultures the more similarities you find.

General Discussion / Re: Irritability
« on: March 20, 2010, 01:35:17 am »
The egg yolks contain all the cholesterol and lecithin and 99% of the fat and other good stuff. The whites reall only have protein and magnesium...both pretty much irrelevant for a liver flush. Plus there's always the debate of "avadin", but honestly i don't see the whites as necessary nor a hinderance to a liver flush so....

As for the anger issue of OP, It would make sense that a constipated liver would contribute to this. Ancient chinese medicine has a list of emotions that affect certain organs and energy systems...
http://health.howstuffworks.com/traditional-chinese-medicine-causes-of-illness6.htm

Also If you think about how our society is usually raised...Well from childhood we're usually taught in school to eat for nutrition but because most of the "kids" food is nothing but high carbs sugary bullshit we usually can't resist the mad cravings and tend to ignore nutrition alltogether. We eat foods that make us feel good, we get trapped in the emotional "highs and lows" depending on stimulants like sugar and caffene to keep us happy and moving. In later years we've already unconsciously associated these high carb stimulants with pleasure so when we experience stress an easy way to get rid of it is to eat. Carbs keep us sedated because they release "feel good" chemicals in the brain so that we don't have to deal with the stress. So imagine a runner who runs mulitple times a day or a wieghtlifter who hits the gym multiple times a day who for a period of time can no longer do that. You'll notice (if you do a real life experiment) that unless the revert to TV or food they will get extremely irritable because their main source of stress relief is gone and they need to adapt to a new one. Another possible cause for stress is the body's adaptation to a new energy concentration. One of the main reasons HFCS is so addictive is because it's such a high concentration of sugar/energy, the body sees it as "superior", thus will perfer it over any lower concentrations. So when you take it away you'll constantly be craving it until your body resensitizes to a lower concentration of sugar.
So it's kinda like withdrawl...O.o, those are 2 theories anyway.

Yeah, Aajonus usually keeps his "high meat" in airlock glass containers and leaves them in the fridge, or cool dark place. I'd assume that would protect it from any undesirable effects.
You can see this on the Ripley's blieve it or not video. Though he opens the jar every 3-4 days cause he says the oxygen "keeps the bateria moving" (...wat?, lol)

General Discussion / Re: Is there any need to detox?
« on: March 20, 2010, 12:40:32 am »
Well i mean there ARE ways to speed up one's own detox process, omho. For example one of the ways the liver detoxifies is by expelling fat soluble toxins in bile in the presence of high fat meals. Since bile is made mostly from lecithin and cholesterol when one eats egg yolks in massive quantity 12-24 a day, it can , in theory, speed up the rate at which the body releases stored fat soluble toxins. As for water soluble toxins, i'd assume taking in liquids, as most do on juice fasts, would cause most of the water solube toxins to be expelled through the kidneys.
Basically, yes, your body will automatically detox once your start eating right, however thats not to say that the process cant be sped up. In light of that though, if you don't have a heavy accumulation of toxins and symptoms to begin with then there may not be much of a need.
Another thing to consider is energy/bloodflow. One great point that's made clear in the raw food movement is that when your body is busy digesting all the time and repairing tissue it can't spend as much time getting rid of toxins. This is why many people in the raw movement advocate fasting in some form or another. For example i'm trying a liver cleanse where i'm having 6egg yolks in a glass of milk 2x's a day at noon and before bed. Of course one could argue that as long as your taking in enough nutrition that excess isn't really needed, which is a subjective point but a good one non-the-less.

Ultimatly it's up to you to decide what rite for yourself. A Low Toxin/Toxin Free diet will eventually allow the body to clean itself out, but it doesn't mean it can't be sped up. The real trick is to supply the body with what it needs using the least amount of energy on digestion as possible. Therefore experiement with foods and see how they sit with you. Perhaps raw fish will digest quickly and easily while raw beef will not digest as easily or vise-versa. experiement and see which foods fit your body well, and don't let dogma/idealism/image determine what you eat. Are you trying to meet the image/lifestyyle of raw paleo or are you trying to meet the image of health?

That being said, nutritionally raw beef and eggs are superior in every way :) :) :)

Raw Kyle- there's a group of them in OR which i've attended and apparently there's one in Jamaca that i haven't yet been to. They've described why they do what they do and alittle bit about what they believe. I've asked them about thier diet and thier healing methods. They have an herb garden and they use a special yoga, massage, meditation, etc which do most of thier healing, they regard food less as medicine and more as sustinence. They are a SPIRITUAL group, not a bunch of diet fanatics, they simply make thier own food and since they don't believe in killing they don't have meat, similar to buddhists. They don't condemn anyone and they let people who eat meat join in with thier outer circle activities. Their thing is love everyone.
Just clearing up that little miscinception.

Oh i whole-heartedly agree that chagning diet is MUCh safer. If i ever give general advise it's to take things slow and do it right. I learned that from music, it's always better to start slow and clean than sloppy and fast. However thats not quite what this post is about, it's asking about the most powerful detoxes in the shortest amount of time and mentions nothing of saftey -d. I mean thats what I"M looking for, lol.
Raw Kyle, back up a sec, essenes have no place in the raw vegan community. Essenes believe in a MOSTLY vegetarian diet however they use homemade keifer and butter from raw dairy, especially after fasts as they see it as a stregth giver. they also consume raw honey which is still a controversial subject amoungst the raw vegan community. Lastly they have the ability to thrive on a plant based diet because of thier other practices. In Taoism, spiritual masters commented on diet saying that men of average consciencness cannot thrive on a plant-based diet and that they must suppliment with animal foods, meat in-particular. However in the case of enlightened beings or those who have reached a certain stage in thier spiritual practises a plant based diet would be ok. This is rather off topic, but my point being is that Essenes are not diet, they are a spiritual group who do spiritual practices cerntered around healing.
Goddamn raw vegan community will take anything they can get and try to associate with it just to market thier ideals. Not saying thier all like that, but...they're all like that , lol, jk.

btw good samaritan what exactly is the VCO supposed to do? I did it once and just shat it out and it hurt rather badly. It made me feel HORRIBLE, not better, lol, does it have to be a particular brand? perhaps mine was heated and thus didn't work?

but then you hear of people who do liver cleanses or fasting and they're cured of skin conditions, people who do coconut fasts, or colonics and notices eye color changes, people who eat high meat and raw fats who cure autism, and other neurological disorders.
I mean i agree that a "general sense of well being" is something i used to get when i order chinese food, drink mountain dew and stay up till 5 am playing D&D or Risk or sum other game, and doesn't constitute cellular healing. Sense of well being is all mental, but when you have physical observable conditions that dissappear after a change in diet and/or lifestyle then you're dealing with solid evidense that something you're doing is changing you to you liking(unless you enjoy ill health).

However being the "seeker" i am, i wholeheartedly agree that the closer to nature we get the faster we heal. Most tribes and the essenes are prime examples of this, i'm sure even if they continued their diet that they would suffer SOME decrease in health if they were to be thrown into NYC, lol. Sunlight especially seems to have multiple healing "powers".

hahaha i just asked that same question in a diff post. RawZi suggested sumthing aajonus said about detoxing vaccines. Apparently you age sum organic raspberries for like at least a month or 2 and they're supposed to be this CRAZY detox.
And i'm pretty sure at this point detox is a proven FACT that scientists can now observe. Whether or not the porgram one is using is helping detox is still up in the air.

Fasting is indeed a powerful SUMTHING, lol, it's VERY hard to do. My last water fast lasted about 10days, though i could have gone longer i came to the conclusion that i should be DOING rather than not doing, and thus ended it. Nevertheless many people have healed various conditions with fasting, but again, it takes MUCH willpower.
That being said i don't think fasting on water should be done unless your liver and kidneys are at FULL POWA!!!! Because when you fast on water there's such a HUGE dump of toxins in the bloodstream that if the liver/kidneys can't keep up then they'll just re-deposit them in the tissue like they did when you first experienced toxic overload. If shit gets dumped in your colon wats to stop it from getting reabsorbed?
In theory a fast with pure fat or fiber would be a rather powerful detox, however this is just in theory so.... I thought about doing a fast on cream or butter. I tried one with coconut oil which just gave me the shlitts, complete garbage, lol. maybe if the oils weren't heated they'd do better, who knows.

No i'm just surprised it's so simple, like "Hey just eat this handful of mold and all them vaccines be GONE YO!". And usually with aajonus he's very particular about circumstance and "how" to take it. Do you remember which book it was in?

And the KP happened while i was VERY young, before my memory so i'll assume it was in a pretty close time-frame of the vaccine, though i'm not saying it's the cause. Honestly i'm not too worried about it, but it is rather annoying i must say, lol.

Honestly if i knew what exactly was in me that i want to get rid of then it'd make my search MUCH easier. I Have gotten the "multi-shot" though, u know, that one when you're young with like 11 needles at once? I'm pretty sure thats about the time my hair and eyes changes color, i began to put on wieght, develop KP and get sick O.o. Prooly jus coinsidence  ???
And idk about aajonus' diet being for buffering detox, it seems like for him it's more about building stregth/protection then about detox. From what i understand fat is a protector of cells and thus protects your body from environmental polluntants that are in excess in 21st century living. His other focus seems to be digestion and bateria (which he states that 90% of digestion is bacteria and that we only eat the "excrement" of bacteria, which i don't buy at all) which i think certainly reduces toxins...idk. Honestly this body of mine is SOO cunfuzzling idk what to believe but i'm willing to try stuff, unfortunatly most stuff just doesn't seem to do the trick or goes against my path so....
I'm sorry i'm getting sidetracked, what was this detox again??

What he said is in the first one and starts at 24:51 with the callers question. He explains honey as...not carbs? He says when it's cooked or heated, rather it's carbs but when it's raw it just enzymatic? that cant be rite(or maybe it can , who knows), but anyway yeah just listen to the audios, it's actually rather interesting :)

Honestly i'm looking for the fastest most powerful and crippling detox i can find here, as i am rather impatient -d which is why his mention of the function of raw cheese sparked my creative interest
