General Discussion / Re: Wild Food Sources

And does anyone know of any hunters you can contact via online that sells their catch/game?

Unfortunately, wild game is not permitted to be sold in the USA.  Thanks to the powers that be ( fedzilla ).

The game can be donated/given as a gift, though.

Make friends with a hunter, or take up hunting yourself.

I am a bowhunter 90% of the time.

Good luck.

Mag,  I found it by accident.  I mean I was looking at psoriasis cures  and this site came up.

I was floored to find like minded people.  I have always been in to fermented food and drink.

Being a hunter of large game ( deer, elk, etc. ) and a fisherman, it just seems natural to me to not want to cook the 'good stuff' out of the meat.

The only health issues I have is allergies( certain pollens ) and psoriasis.  I am interested in getting rid of both.

I found this place by accident, actually.

I have always been thought of as weird by family and friends because of my taste for rare steak, fish jerky, kimchi, sauerkraut, stuff like that.

I really blew everyone away last Christmas when I brought pepper-cured venison backstrap to the family dinner.  I ended up taking  most of it back home ( more for me ).

Anyways, I am glad I found y'all, and I am looking forward to learning a lot here.

Thanks.
