Carnivorous / Zero Carb Approach / Re: Calories
« on: May 22, 2010, 09:35:35 pm »
(Paleo) raw foods contain more calories than cooked per gram as raw foods also have additional water-content and nutrients that are wiped out after cooking. Grains and legumes, though, have more usable calories after cooking, though they are in themselves very harmful.

Oh really very thanks for letting this know as, I was got little confused but, the food that we cooked in spices and oil do contains a lot of calories.

Thanks

Carnivorous / Zero Carb Approach / Re: Itching
« on: May 22, 2010, 09:32:34 pm »
I itch strongly all over my body, nonstop. I noticed eating cooked food triggers additional itching. My head is especially itchy and has dandruff as well.

I think there is not a problem with the cooked food because it seems that, some thing is actually bothering you that is may be some kind of allergy so please I will advice you to better consult with a Doctor about this problem.

Thanks

Itching has been around before antibiotics, I think it's herpes or possibly scabies.  Just kidding.  Do you develop rashes or dry skin?  I know when I eat grains/carbs my skin itches more and I develop more acne and dandruff.

Same as with me as, I do have face same problem but, as far as dandruff concerns then, it didnt happen with me but yes, when I eat some food that contains lot of oil then in that case, it causes dandruff.

Thanks

Try raw NOT soaked walnuts. I know they're harder on digestion but this is why they slow you down.

You actually suggested the better stuff that will be helpful for us as there are many stuffs that are good to calm you out like Kiwi fruit, oats etc which are good source for calming you out.

Thanks

I think in comparison to raw food, cooked food contains more calories as, it is prepared in whole some of stuffs like, oil and other ingredients that will make it very fatty so it is better to have raw food cooked in very less oil without any other ingredients on it.

Wai diet is according to me is a healthy way to keep yourself glowing everyday as, today many people are going veggie and having raw diet plan that includes fruits and vegetables that can be combined with any thing.

I am a strong supporter of Raw veggie diet as it is high in protein and very good for healthy and glowing skin.

Thanks

Fruits are must to be included in your diet plan as, it helps you in keeping your body refreshed by removing all the harmful toxics from your body. It is always to better to have fruits daily instead of having a juice as it will be more helpful in providing fibre that is an important source of staying fit.

General Discussion / Re: storing raw fat
« on: May 13, 2010, 10:28:56 pm »
If we talk about storing raw food that is meat or any other flesh we need to store it in very low temperature so that, you can keep that fresh for a long time as, in big barbecues there are lot of cold storage where it is kept but, it is very important to consume it as soon as possible.

Also, if we talk about raw veggies or fruits then it is better to keep them is fresh zip pouches and store them all in refrigerators.

Thanks
