According to new Scientist, a rather more reliable source than wikipedia, there are c.1000 bacteria per millilitre of blood:-

OK, it is more of the same.  This scientist, Douglas Kell, is guessing there MIGHT be some kind of bacteria by observing indirect results.  Again, nothing concrete, just guesses.

What amuses me is the absurd  resistance against this idea of dormant bacteria in the blood. After all, it is known that the body is made up c.  50% of bacteria :-
