Remove amalgam fillings and replace with nothing
« on: December 10, 2021, 12:21:04 am »
Hi! Did any of you get your dental amalgam fillings removed and replace it with nothing? Meaning just leaving a hole in the tooth. What happened next? Did the hole fill itself gradually?

I am thinking of doing this. But I've called several dentists and they told me they would never do it, which I don't understand. How did you find a dentist who is willing to do it?

Thanks in advance!

I recommend that you do not remove amalgam in a regular dentist's office. I did and got mercury poisoning. This should be done in a special office where they provide a separate air circulation and special valves so that the remains of the seal do not enter the esophagus.
