I don't see any point taking this "frozen" discussion so deep.

For most of us frozen meat is the only way to go about it.  Surely, it'll be nice to live next to a good farm and have fresh meat every day.  Even better if we had our own farms.  But we don't.

Let's concentrate on figuring out what works best for each of us.  I personally don't care how it works on the molecular level.  As long as it works that's all I care about.  All I want is to feel great and be healthy and spend my time with my family instead of constantly googling for answers.

Interesting.  If the physics of cellular distruction from freezing is due to the expansion of ice crystals from within the cell bursting the cellular walls, then how could adding an external substance possibly have any effect?  Unless you replace the water inside the cell with something that won't freeze and if you did this I would expect that such a substance would destroy the viability of the cell. 

This doesn't ring true to me.  Not that it's not true, it just seems to violate a couple of laws of physics.

I couldn't see Tyler's link as it was Pay-Per-View, but this one was open.  Guess I'm wrong - again!  That's why I don't want to set myself up as a guru with all the answers.  There's clearly a lot that I don't know.
