Raw Milk Cheesemakers Fret Over Possible New Rules

Federal regulators are considering whether to tighten food safety rules for cheese made with unpasteurized milk — and the possibility has cheesemakers and foodies worried that the result will be cheese that is less tasty and not much safer.

The new proposals, which are expected in the next several months, come after a very tough year for this country’s fast-growing gourmet cheese industry, marked by recalls and two multistate E. coli outbreaks that sickened nearly 50 people.

....

The primary pathogens that now cause illness associated with cheese, like toxic forms of E. coli and listeria, were either unknown in the 1940s or not of great concern.

hmm... another great reason to stop viewing violent terrorist police and so called representatives as authority figures.
I do not eat much cheese but this is absolute BS.. The only reason anyone will comply is because of fear of harm by those sworn to protect.

Quebec is also 'cracking down' on raw cheese makers by imposing stricter regulations and more inspections. Many have stopped making raw cheese for that reason. Raw milk is still illegal everywhere in Canada. No one cares about those issues except weirdos like us  -[

I hate democrazy, or should I say alleged democrazy. All forms of vertical hierarchy(government) suck.
This idea that since our numbers are less that our opinions do not matter is atrocious.
We sit back, or hopelessly try to help, and watch as people poison themselves each day and develop disease and WE are labeled crazy and legit food producers are punished. Anyone who denies the fact that corporations have taken control of the average human's mind is simply delusional.
Just watch as disease rates go up and eventually drug companies will not be able to keep them alive and functional. More and more will wake up and eventually, we will outnumber the zombie sheep.
"Let he who can, save himself" Of course spreading the word is necessary, don't be shy  ;D
