Questions :)!
« on: June 25, 2010, 10:14:10 pm »
Hey guys!  :)

I am totally new to this diet so have some questions...

How do you generally feel on this diet?

Mmm, I love my body haha  -[ ;D. And I was wondering do you guys find it easy to keep weight on on this diet? Or do people generally experience a lot of weight loss? And what can you eat to keep your weight on or gain weight?

I know that this diet mostly focuses on lean meats but can you still eat fatty meats like bacon and sausage? I heard that they contain a lot of salt which is *bad*...but what is so bad about salt >.<?

And please give me the skinny of the benefits you have experienced on this diet ^-^

Thank you <3!

You should eat unprocessed, uncured meats, without additives or flavourings. It doesn't matter if it's fatty or lean as long as it tastes good. Preferably the animals which the meat comes from would be as close to their natural diet as possible. You can do anything on this diet that you would do on any other diet, just with more potential.. RPD is general... Following RPD you could eat few calories, many calories, much fat, little fat, much fruit, no fruit, do lots of exercise, do no exercise, put on weight, lose weight.. RPD is a general thing,  everyone does it differently.

Actually the paleo diet focuses on lean meats but the raw paleo dieters generally eat lots of fat and it is considered very healthy in its raw state. I personally was overweight and the raw paleo diet aloud me to lose lots of weight in fat but I am now gaining it back in lean mass.  I feel great now, much better than on any previous diets.
