Wholesale meat

When you guys buy wholesale/large quantities, do you freeze most of your meat and defrost enough meat each day for each day? Or do you get enough to sit in your fridge before it goes bad? How long does it take for meat to be uneatable while in the fridge?

When I receive meat by delivery it comes frozen, I put it in the freezer. I defrost a cut or portion by putting in the fridge. When I eat, I take part out of the fridge so it warms up. Usually I consume it within a week of thawing. As long as it has contact with air once in a while it will always be edible and you can keep it as long as you want in your fridge. When it thaws, nutrients are lost, probably through the juice that leaks out of it. I try to add the juice back to the meat.

Sometimes if I'm impatient I just take meat in a plastic bag out of the freezer and place it in warm water.
