Is one better off eating regular supermarket raw meat and eggs (presumably grain fed and in giant lots) than cooked food or anything else in that regard when you don't have the option of grass-fed or pastured?

Are you talking about short-term diet (i.e. when travelling), or long-term diet?

In the short term, I'd rather fast, or eat fruits and vegetables, than eat supermarket animal products raw.

In the long term, you should really find a farm to buy food from. In the US, this shouldn't be hard to do. In my experience, beef from ANY farm, even if grain-finished, is 100x better than anything from the supermarket.

Yes. I'll eat a Wal-Mart 100% hamburger roll run over by a Mack Truck if that is the only meat, over any other "food."

Depends on who you ask...but I prefer raw over cooked any time. Meat, fruit, veggies...whatever.

Nothing wrong with supermarket food if you go to the natural/organic section. May not be as top-flight as fresh off the farm, but it beats any other option (short of harvesting/killing it yourself).
