Bones

Do you guys like to chew bones at all?  I've read around here that some people do make bone broths, but doesn't that require heating and is therefore cooked?  I also read about someone who used a file to grind the bone into powder and ate it straight.. but that takes out all the fun!

I love chewing on bones.  I was only recently able to obtain some beef bone marrow slices, though I bought them from a commercial cheap store and they smelt awful!  There was still some meat attached to the bones, and the meat smelt really bad, and some of the marrow smells bad too.. so I'm not sure if I should eat it or not?  I think I might throw it out, the bones and marrow are awesomely cheap anyways, and I found another place with marrow that doesn't have as bad of meat.  But I took one of the smaller bone slices, ate the marrow out of it which was one of the only marrow pieces that didn't stink, then I soaked the bone in cool water overnight so soften up the flesh, and then scraped it all off with a knife.  I don't know if soaking the bone in cool water for one night would leech out any of the minerals or anything?  But in any case, I've been chewing on the clean bone a little bit for a couple days, which no longer smells bad either, and I love it.  It's a somewhat awkward shape, so it's a bit hard to chew on since I don't have a nice long muzzle, but still, I could sit for hours and chew on it.  Much better than gum!  I haven't chewed on it much for long though, but I have managed to successfully scrape of a tiny bit of the bone with my teeth into powder which I swallow and lick up.  I love it!
Hi, I'm 32, around 5'4" and ~124lb, no real significant health problems other than hyperventilating when running/exercising (that my doc said was because of the smog/asthma), fatigue, and really bad acne.
I'd preferably be a carnivore/very low carb, but I have had a very hard time finding grass-fed or even organic fats, organs, and marrow. I consume raw dairy, but I do not eat much vegetables.. however, I do love fruit.
I live with my dad, so I also have to sneak any raw meat eating.
