Austrian quality of meats

I have just heard from someone that Austria, unlike  neighbouring Eastern European countries, has laws which expect Austrian farmers to feed their grazing animals at least 80 percent on grass, and only 20 percent maximum on feed like grains, soy. Not sure how "healthy" that is, though. Certainly, I never found the raw meats there appetitising, with the obvious exception of raw wild game, which is more ubiquitous in Austria than in the UK.
