how much of what did u use/instructions? ima try that
Well I never measure anything exactly I always do it using my the eye/taste method.
But basically for the most its macadamias and pistachio 75%/25%.
So use 3 times more macadamias that you would pistachios (or just experiment with other nuts but macadamias give it that smooth buttery-ness).
Grind the macadamias in a good coffee grinder and it turns into mold-able oily nut butter.
Grind the pistachios until its crumbly & flour-like.
Mix those two by kneading with you hands.
Then add the coco powder, USE A LOT! I didn't measure but kept putting more and more, the dough should be Black, after all if you`re eating these things you want to consume chocolate right (=
You can also add the cinnamon to taste and a pinch of cayenne for a little spiciness (other things like nutmeg or vanilla may be nice).
For the honey it depends on how sweet you want it, start by adding half a teaspoon, knead it in - then taste the dough to see if its sweet enough for you, if not add another half teaspoon etc (I used about a teaspoon here)
Then comes the fun part you can compress it and roll it into balls! Then freeze, that all the instructions
PS. at times I use Xylitol to add less honey and have more sweetness, Xylitol is very sweet sugar-alcohol occurring naturally in things like birch trees and its very good for teeth and gums.
I bet the vegans will pick up this recipe.
Yup this is definitely vegan, I feel sorry for vegans, slowly starving people, at least they can have this so they don`t feel so sad lol just kidding
I love chocolate, although I think it's toxic as hell.
Well I doubt that its toxic as hell, ( drinking gasoline is toxic as hell...lol or eating processed food) at least I don't have any bad reaction to it. Its a nice stimulant for me, I love working after eating chocolate and doing creative stuff, its a great 'natural drug', also I heard its bursting with many good antioxidants, I use the raw kind it tastes even better. I find it works even better then coffee on me. Some people don't eat it (not everyone has the same effect maybe) but I believe to me it does my body and brain good
Plus its got that special taste and effect that is unique to itself, people say carob powder is an alternative...Bullshit, I tried carob and it taste like nasty fried grain powder, why would people use that to substitute something as lovely as chocolate. Thats beyond me.
I'll post more paleo raw JUNK FOOD when I decide to make something special again
