Milk fed chicken
« on: July 10, 2011, 07:04:47 am »
http://www.milkfedchicken.com/

I just bought and ate a whole milkfed chicken and it was quite good.
Its not from the farm in the link, from what I was told its a seasonal delicacy that is free ranged and finished off on raw milk from the same farm. They are fed grains, but it only makes up a small part of the total diet.

I usually don't eat chicken because of quality concerns, but I am impressed by this milk fed chicken I just finished off.

The rooster I harvested a month ago was fed sour milk, so good.

I've tried pastured chicken that included grass pastured raw skim milk in its diet.  It was the most delicious chicken I ever tried.
