Listeria Hysteria?

How are cantaloupes handled in your part of the world?

I'm suspicious about this new Listeria Hysteria the media is promoting.

It's more likely the fruits were injected by some poison.

Or do they sell these pre-cut?  Horrors if they do.

How about GMO?

this is nothing new.  no it is not poisoned deliberately.  this is common for all foods that are massed produced on the conveyor, fruits, vegetables, meats, or ketchup, you name it.

A lot of US canteloupe agribusiness is conducted by canteloupe contractors on leased acreage, so that the crops can migrate with favorable weather throughout the southern US and northern Mexico. The scale of agribusiness operations is enormous, so when a pathogen causes illness, the impact can involve large numbers of people.

Didn't a bunch of people just die in france from eating organic cucumbers?

It seems like clockwork that there keeps being these vegetable contaminations...

Tomatoes... spinach... peanuts... even hamburger

I remember people actually thought like all of the tomatoes in the US had salmonella. No, not the ones in your garden (insert derogatory name calling).

I feel like it is very likely that these are intentional poisonings and that they are being used to help hoist cruel regulations on farmers to continue to prop up the ag cartels and put even more small farmers under the sea.
