Have you heard Ray Peat talk about pro thyroid diets?

He is pretty damn condemning of cruciferous vegetables.

I don't agree with a lot or even most of what the man says but he has a lot of really interesting ideas.

Me thinks he and Sally Fallon are top contenders for best "normal" diet nutritionists, at least of the ones I have heard of.

Wild!

Thats good to hear, keep it up. The farm-raised salmon is not fed a very healthy diet.

    How are you doing, Sally?

Have you heard Ray Peat talk about pro thyroid diets?

Is that the guy that drinks pasteurized milk?

Hey guys, just a quick update, I managed to get out of that job I was working that was bad for me mentally and physically, by starting my own business.  The air I am breathing is way fresher, the work is less physically strenuous, and I'm not dealing with situations/people that make me feel badly about myself.  I knew it was affecting me, but it's still weird to see how much.  Like, my body changed it's fat distribution over the course of a couple weeks. (skinnier around the waist, arms got smaller, butt got bigger, stomach looks more toned.)  I haven't been eating raw, because I live at camp, so I basically eat what they have for raw veggies on half my plate, and cooked food on the other half.  But, I'm on days off now and I haven't touched a morsel of cooked food, just meat and alkaline plant food.  Also they have raw milk cheese at one of the local grocery stores soI have a bit of that here and there.  I don't over do it though, because I don't crave it much.  Is is safe to eat partially freezer burned meat raw?

Good job Sally!

Yeah, freezer burned meat is ok, just try to eat it as soon as it thaws to minimize further oxidation of nutrients.

Glad to hear you're in a healthier place mentally and physically!

What kind of business are you starting?

Keep in mind that most commercially available "raw" milk cheeses are actually cooked, just not to the legal definition of pasteurized so they can claim them to be raw. Unfortunately there are a ton of products labeled raw out there that are not even close.

Glad to hear you're finding this WOE helpful! Keep up the great work!
