Hi everyone!
I'm really interested in following a raw paleo lifestyle but I have some questions I would like to ask before I make the change.
My main reason for starting this is to help rid my eczema and asthma and just be really good to my body.
Atm I am currently taking probiotics, spirulina, chlorella, psyllium husk and fish oil supplements to help me skin and also detox it. Are these allowed on the paleo diet?
Im in my final years of school where it all counts and i dont want to be held back by my eczema as it ruins my sleepcycle and i itch at school etc
So i was wondering if paleo would help overcome this, and how long it would take to gain skin benefits?
I would like to know what would be an ideal breakfast for school to boost concentration aswell as help overall health?
At the moment my breakfast consists of cranberry, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, sunflower seeds and apple juice blender together with psyllium.
Is this still good for a paleo diet? Or do I need to eat fat and meat from the getgo in the morning?
With the meat, I have to get grassfed right? And get meat with fat on it. I dont understand how people are eating raw meat? I mean what about the blood?
Do you wash it? Do you cut it into pieces? Do you eat it by itself or marinate it??
I was thinking of marinating raw meat and cutting it into slivers and putting it in the freezer (to help with parasites)
(as I am wary cause i am new to this i dont know if my body could handle it yet) so that when i defrost it i can just maybe slide it down my throat fast and easy??
ALso what do you think of having a glass of apple cider vinegar with water or water with himalayain salt as part of detox.
Would this help my skin problems and everything?
I kind of eat a lot of fruit and not much veggies so should i be swapping this around? Is broccoli on the good list?
Does my food have to be organic? And do i have to juice it/cook it?
WHat other alternatives are there to coconut oil that is cheaper as i cant really afford it, but i will if i must.
I also would like to mention I'm allergic to milk, egg and wheat so this is another reason why i want to be on the paleo diet
I only have raw organic shea butter at home, would this also work? What is a good substitue for egg, as i know it is in the paleo diet and might be a staple??
Oh and do i have to transition myself from cooked meat to raw mean or can i just go straight into it? Seriously how do you deal with the blood... hahaha
Thankyou!!
Sorry for all the questions but I just would like some answers
Oh and I'm thinking of adding Slipper Elm, Milk Thistle, dandelion greens and red clover tea into my diet.
Would you recommend this or is it too much at one time?
Btw does anyone know if fridge water(inbuilt) is filtered?
