Store fish
« on: February 27, 2012, 12:43:44 pm »
Hello, I learn a lot from ya about storing meat. How do I store my fish? Do I hang it or lay it on a wire plate?  I usually lay it on a plate and cover it. It seem to over dry when I leave it uncover.

Cover it with foil. I usually eat raw fish within 2 days max after buying it, as I usually don't like the taste of fish that's not reasonably fresh.

Same with geoff.
I eat my fish / sea food within the day, max of 2 days.

For sashimi I wrap it in plastic then bury it in ice / ice cubes in a cooler.

I will only eat live clams and oysters.
