aajonus experience
« on: February 24, 2012, 03:40:15 am »
What is peoples experience with following aajonuses diet? I started off trying to follow it strictly but now am veering towards more raw paleo than primal, but i dont see myself giving up butter unless I am able to get large amounts of fat elsewhere. I am also beginning to add more fruit than he says is healthful.

I found it hard to stray from his reccomendations because he seemed so sure of what he says as well as claiming almost 100 percent success with getting people to follow his exact reccomendations which I cant see him lying about but who knows.

How many people here started off following his diet strictly and then tweeked it to their own preferences?

I started with his general recommendation, then gradually reduced the vege juice to a couple of times a week because it was unnecessary and mostly inconvenient. I had to cut down on the fruit as it was giving me colds. I've never eaten the quantity of meat he suggests and I eat maybe one-two eggs per day.

The raw dairy and honey is excellent.
Cheers
Al

I started doing the primal diet for 6 months, then gave up and went wholly rawpalaeo.

I just eat what I eat.  I only juice maybe 5-6 times a year, and then it's usually just bought at a juice bar, and I happen to be there and be thirsty at the moment.  Also, I don't usually juice dark greens, because they cause allergic skin problems for me. I think I'm allergic to the anti-nutrients, plus  think they are weakening the action of vitamin D in my body. Vitamin D reduces allergic reactions.

Other than that, I do eat a very Primal sort of diet...but that's just because it happens to work for me.  I don't recommend dairy for most people, or at least not very much. Honey and fruit should also be used in moderation.

Something I think Aajonus really fails to mention is the usefulness of mineral supplements like Terramin, bone meal, and dolomite. They've really helped me.

I did Aajonus dairy and some green juicing.

Dairy I can't digest... experimented many times.

Green juicing, yuck.  Maybe I haven't found the right combo yet.

So I'm left with meat and fruit.
I'm also lazy and would like to avoid processing stuff.
Just slice and eat.
Also on a somewhat instinct level.

Aajonus has great experience in healing many different diseases. This is why I keep his books handy.  And they work.  Recently, worked well with my 10 year old in crisis.  When I coupled his methods with barefoot herbalist MH.  My son was saved.
