I'm very egg-cited
« on: May 25, 2014, 12:25:36 pm »
sorry. I just found a source of duck eggs and have determined that I am not allergic to the raw whites like I am with chicken eggs. Now I can say goodbye to the last thing tempting me into cooking my food and go 100% raw no excuses. The duck eggs are so big and much yolkier. If you ask me, they are more delicious as well. Sionara chicken eggs.
My basic health philosophy:

1. If it is advertized on TV, don't touch it.
2. If it is recommended in the news, do the opposite.
3. If it makes most people afraid, it might be good for you.

Yay! I wish I had duck eggs. The only place that actually had them, which is where I work now, no longer has them anymore. D'oh!

Chicken egg yolk tastes like ice cream to me. Duck meat (and fat especially) is significantly better than chicken. Assuming the trend is similar, I can only imagine how much better duck eggs are. *drools*
In its purest, unaltered form, healthy food is delicious.
