eating less
« on: August 25, 2012, 12:53:54 pm »
when i eat less like i do nowadays as opposed to how i stuffed myself earlier on i feel as though im absorbing more nutrients because my gut couldnt deal with how much i was putting in before. Now that i put in less i feel like my body attacks the food more efficiently and breaks it down better so i almost feel as though im eating more. its wierd.
also my wallet is pretty happy about it too. a nice little side effect. Im begging to see the truth in how gs talks about the masters of longevity eating less.

sometimes i eat a smaller amounts throughout the day and sometimes ill just eat very little during the day and a huge meal at night. Either way i think works a lot better than regular face stuffing eating style.

I also eat less in general. I probably eat about 25 to 50 percent less than I ate before. Its funny because now I feel im getting more nutrients than ever.

I have similar experiences.  It's like 3 raw eggs > 6 fried eggs.  I will digest the fat and protein better raw.  It feels so good though.  I'm still not eating raw red meat except for liver.  I suck at cooking steak.  Ended up overcooking last night was a bit rough, my body was like why?  ;D  Some mornings I am very happy munching on things like fruits, avocados, etc.  Lunch may be some raw eggs, sashimi salmon, sardines, or steamed veggies with good fats (coconut oil, butter, etc).  My goal is to continually evolve to eating better quality, less quantity; while still allowing room for "cheat foods."  I have been working a lot with "elements."  Try deep breathing as much as you can.  When I started deeply breathing, my food intake dropped maybe 20% immediately.  Same thing to a lesser degree applies to sunlight, grounding, and clean water.

Yes troll, I agree - on this diet its great just waiting to get hungry enough to eat, until your mouth is salivating at the thought of high meat :)

My body feels a little more like your avatar each day (a handsome, friendly, not green version)!

Also on this diet I am starting to like the smells of decaying stuff - Now I understand why dogs roll in rotten things as its would re-invigorate their microbial communities, so also I'm now feeling more of a connection with dogs, since this diet is just what they would love to eat.

That's an excellent point.  I never thought about that before.
