Sourcing quality foods in Miami, FL
« on: November 29, 2012, 11:55:32 pm »
Hey everyone. I'm looking to expand my sources of quality foods in Miami and surrounding areas.

I'm already a member of 1. "Miller's Organic Farm" - http://www.myhealthyfoodclub.com/
So far I've been impressed with their food quality.

I used http://www.realmilk.com/where02.html#fl to find more places.

2. "Alternative Real Good Foods" looks good also. Here's their price list. http://www.alternativerealgoodfoods.com/real_food_5.html

They have wild-caught King Salmon for $13.95/lb. While Miller's has wild-caught Alaskan Salmon for $14.50/lb or $12.50/lb for 2 pounds, but they don't specify what type of Salmon it is. So this other option is good.

I also don't think they charge a fee for their foods, Miller's charges 24% for shipping for orders under $100, and 20% for orders over $100.

I also found 3. "Farm-fresh Club at BM Organics," and contacted them asking for a price list and if there's a membership fee.

I also found 4. "http://marandofarms.com/"

If any of you live in the Miami area and have a good source of animal foods or produce I haven't mentioned. Please let me know. Thanks.
