I know there are a good number of libertarian-leaning folks on here. I just watched (and enjoyed) the documentary War on Health produced by Gary Null, and thought I'd share a link for those who are interested.

You need to stop posting these lengthy documentaries! I finished watching Fat Head and it was over an hour and a half, now I definitely want to watch this too. I have other things to do lol

It's interesting to note that every measure passed by the FDA which restricts access to supplements, healthy food, etc. is done under the guise of "protecting the public."

All these laws undermine the individual's ability to choose healthy foods and supplements to better their health, while doing nothing to remedy the real threats to public health.

The majority of those outbreaks are by LARGE corporations, not small farmers.

Agree with you generally, although I don't think that the government employees and legislators' intentions are to undermine individuals' ability to access healthy foods. I think they honestly believe that what they're doing is right and useful, and their capacity to understand the real impacts of their actions is limited by the fact they're so disconnected from the people they legislate or regulate.

This is war and its something I have to face day to day.

The corruption is almost too much to take. It makes one want to write raving manifestos

Obama and the first lady do everything to ensure that their daughters eat all organic and receive the best education and live in the cleanest environment. They even were going to plant an organic garden on the white house lawn before testing relieved that the soil was contaminated.

Why will Obama and the first lady spare no expense to ensure their children are protected, while at the same time doing absolutely nothing to stop the contamination of the food supply with GMO. They do nothing about the abominable situation with the school lunch programs. What about soil testing for the masses of people in this country that have to eat food grown with synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.

The federal government is doing nothing to protect us from the real threats to human health.

Instead they are working on the ass end of the problem by mandating everyone have health insurance, so that when the pollution make you sick you will be forced to take drug based treatments designed to profit off the suffering of humanity. I am calling for an outright health insurgence against what the Feds are attempting to pull off.

I see where things are going and I am not going to sit back and let it happen. Right now employers all over the nation are asking workers to get their bio-metric measurements taken as a means to negotiate insurance rates. There are huge data mining operations being conducted as a means to tack and tag the population like they would live stock, labeling us as assets or liabilities.

If the system was actually wanting to promote human health they could use this kind of information grid to discover exactly what is the root cause behind the health problems being faced by the multitudes. Instead they are using the information to concoct schemes of how best to force "We the People " to pay for  a system of health care that is totally failing to do the job its been entrusted to do. The CDC does nothing to put together the studies needed to isolate and identify the underlying causes of the epidemics of our times. The CDC acts as a stone wall that prevents the proper research from being done that would lead to the discoveries needed to fully understand the environmental causes of human illness. By doing so they act to limit the developments of practical and effective solutions which would if implemented properly, do more to improve the health of the nation, than the government health insurance racket being forced upon us now... and this could be done for a fraction of the money its going to cost to treat the sick multitudes with governmental healthcare.

There is this great war on health being fought against every one of us who wants to be free to chose for ourselves what is best for our own health. The powers of greed are working to take the freedom to protect our own health as well as restricting access to the resources needed for building a healthy life. This war is going to bankrupt us on multiply levels, it will sap the health and the wealth of our once strong nation, and I am calling on whoever still cares to spread the word, spread these videos, and let others know the danger of doing nothing.

I make the charge of treason against the people who run the federal agency's in charge of protecting the health of the nation. There are traitors who hold the highest positions within these federal regulatory agencies and they need to be identified and removed in order for any real alternative to ever be possible.

I don't think it's a situation where everyone involved is doing it to cause harm/prevent people from having access to various modes of non-prescription healing. I'm sure doctors, various legislators, and a lot of other parties involved are legitimately out to protect the public. I'm sure they believe what they're doing is helping. But I still think there's a degree of corruption within the system that, while not spread evenly throughout, plays a part in which policies get enforced.
