Thanks for the link. That reminds me of another site that was dug up not long ago where there was evidence of cannibalism of an extended Neanderthal family, though I think they were thought to have been eaten by H. sapiens sapiens in that case, IIRC.

Why is this in the "off topic" section? Given that these and other Neanderthals and H. sapiens sapiens consumed human flesh, and that some humans still eat "long pig" to this very day, and given that it was eaten raw in this case, it seems to technically be "raw Paleo" food. Probably quite nutritious too.  :P

Well, call me puritannical but  I believe we have to be quite stringent as to what "rawpalaeo" means, otherwise we will be a laughing-stock. That is , urine-drinking, coprophagia, and cannibalism and the like  should not be encouraged as rawpalaeo practices as they are not necessary. I usually put every article about the Palaeolithic era in the off-topic forum as  they are  not about modern food-consumption but about  ancient practices, re food-consumption or otherwise, from  many 1000s of years ago.

That's a good point. Wouldn't want trolls misrepresenting what today's RPDers do. What about a science section, since it's science info that's relevant to RPD?

I'll put that idea to the other  moderators. Who knows?
