Yet another reason to buy only from local sources

It is not just the issue of slaves I am concerned about. These companies obviously use slaves as they do not want to pay proper wages to their workers, but it also means that they will not give a damn about the quality of the seafood they provide, either. That is, I have heard horror stories about farmed shellfish in SE Asia being fed on excrement and the like. I would love to buy seafood locally, but I now live in a landlocked country, a 1000 km away from the sea. Well, at least I have access to raw wild game.
