Sad news- Exposure to junk-food is causing obesity in Siberian tribes/Nenets etc

The Nenets, Yakuts and other Siberian tribes were one of the few human societies in modern times  still eating raw meat, such as shown in these  marvellous photographs:-

Note how they conveniently ignore the rather stronger possibility that raw-meat-consumption was primarily responsible for cold-adaptation:-

Venison has been found to help to avoid frostbite, while fish can increase the resistance to cold stress as well as helping to prevent hypertension and respiratory disease.

 In fact, as many RPDers/RVAFers would testify, better blood-circulation etc. as a result of going in for raw-meat-consumption is responsible for their own  increased health. After all, plenty of other people eat cooked rheindeer and cooked fish and are not as healthy as the Nenets look.

American and Canadian Inuits are the same way.  They get fat quickly when exposed to packaged food.  It is very difficult to obtain the food old way.  It is so much simpler to open a package without lifting your ass.

My pro-raw-meat-diet comment on the first article I (StrontiumDog)mentioned  has 13 in favour and 4 against. Who would have thought?Maybe the mainstream have some hope.....
