No Internet privacy any more....
« on: December 21, 2017, 09:21:38 pm »

I am heartily sick and tired of having to answer questions about my age etc. I know some people who  quite rightly answer completely wrongly(and as ridiculously as possible) whenever they are expected to answer any survey or online question which asks about their real name, gender, race, height, age, sexual orientation etc. And then there are the newer, more annoying security-codes required to register anywhere(now ,more and more, 12 mixed characters are required where any 4 used only to be asked for, and I now get security questions often which are ones I never filled the answers for etc.).

The global spy systems are being coupled with emerging AI, so that it may be impossible for anyone to have absolute internet privacy. Ive been listening to Quinn and he has a number of really far out yet plausible claims such as how the AI Palentir system actually knows when people are attempting to hide something, and he believes it may be best to not hide identity and be fully transparent with internet interaction.

The AI will be built in the image of its creator and if people act all secretive and paranoid then the bots will simulate and manifest the cyber world in accord with that spirit. If we become emboldened and are more upfront and embracing of the AI bots then perhaps we can engender benevolence and good will into a more venerable singularity.
